I purchased a 2021 Toyota Tundra Trail Edition from Florence Toyota on March 27, 2026, and discovered significant undisclosed defects once the vehicle was in my possession. Mechanical Liability: The Florence Toyota on March 27, 2026, and discovered significant undisclosed defects once the vehicle was in my possession. Mechanical Liability: The vehicle was sold as a 4x4 but delivered with a mismatched tire brand/tread on the front axle, creating a drivetrain safety risk. Substandard Repairs: I discovered a front exterior body panel was "rigged" with industrial adhesive/glue rather than factory hardware. This "shortcut" repair was not disclosed and has already failed. Safety Tech Failure: The SOS/Safety Connect system is non-functional and locked to a previous account, which the dealership has failed to address or reset. Lack of Response: Despite providing a $1,539.35 professional estimate from a certified collision center to rectify these issues on April 2nd, the Used Car Manager (Travis Fox) and GSM (Adam Domermuth) have ceased all communication. Formal Investigations: I have officially filed a complaint with the North Carolina DOJ (File #2026-172047) for Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices. I also have an open case with Toyota Brand Engagement (#260408001360) and the BBB. I am appalled by the lack of transparency and the "duct tape" approach to reconditioning at this dealership. I am seeking a check for the $1,539.35 repair amount to settle this matter. More
Let me start off busting in the dealership itself. I rate as good. However, the Service department/parts department was very disappointing. My skid plate on my 2026 tundra came off after a service wit I rate as good. However, the Service department/parts department was very disappointing. My skid plate on my 2026 tundra came off after a service with you guys. It took almost 3 months for the item to come in. After numerous follow ups, no one ever contacted me about the status of the item finally, after I made one last call the item was installed today I would recommend to put in place a system to track parts, waiting for customers men in contact a customer to schedule an appointment to have the items installed. thank you in advance for your attention to this important matter. I worked with Rodney Britt. His 40+ years experience was evident. No surprises just business like and friendly. I purchased a 2024 Sequoia. Nice vehicle. His 40+ years experience was evident. No surprises just business like and friendly. I purchased a 2024 Sequoia. Nice vehicle. More

They took care He was very personable, polite & to the point with his service suggestions as well as with the issues for which I brought my RAV4 in. They took care of my recall issue, oil change & tire rotation (a special running at the time) & an engine issue. Several other suggestions were made to do at a later time. He was just so nice & personable, answered all of my questions & made me feel comfortable in a usually uncomfortable situation....especially being a female in the "service world." Highly recommen this dealership & this service advisor. More
I found a 2024 Tacoma online at Florence Toyota set up a test drive for a Saturday morning. They were ready to go when I got there. We worked out a deal and I purchased the vehicle that same day. I went to Florence Toyota to see if I could get a "recall" taken care of. I did not have an appointment but they said if the needed part was in stock, they could take care of it but it would take 1 "recall" taken care of. I did not have an appointment but they said if the needed part was in stock, they could take care of it but it would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours to complete it. After finding out that they DID have the parts needed, my husband and I waited for 3 HOURS then they came to us to tell us they did not have the parts!!! After 3 hours!!! We made an appointment for the next week and I returned, was taken care of as expected. I wasn't angry at our first visit for this, just very frustrated that it took someone 3 hours to inform us that the parts were not there, after being told they were. Do better, Toyota!! More
Everyone was very courteous and friendly. Overall experience was typical for a car dealership. I interfaced with 3 departments, Sales, Parts and Service, to get the truck as I wanted it. Woul Overall experience was typical for a car dealership. I interfaced with 3 departments, Sales, Parts and Service, to get the truck as I wanted it. Would have expected someone at FT to coordinate everything but that didn't happen. Appears all departments act independently. Symptomatic of a micro managed operation. More
