I appreciate the public response, but it contradicts the private one. Inspection revealed that this 'reconditioned' Tundra was delivered with body panels held together by industrial adhesive and a mismatched tire on a 4WD system, a direct safety risk. You charged a $2,495 Reconditioning Fee , yet delivered a vehicle with blue frame-marking indicating a need for structural repair that was instead masked with glue. I have provided a certified repair estimate of $1,539.35 to rectify these undisclosed defects, but management has ceased communication since April 2nd. This matter is currently under investigation by the SCDCA, NC DOJ (Case 2026-172047), and Toyota Brand Engagement. I remain open to a refund of the repair costs to resolve this ethically.

Update - April 15, 2026: The situation with this vehicle has escalated from undisclosed defects to a major structural safety issue. A professional teardown at an I-CAR Gold certified collision center has revealed a bent front structural crash bar and a compromised radiator support frame. These safety-critical components were intentionally masked with industrial adhesive to hide collision damage prior to sale. Despite charging a $999.00 "Used Car Package" reconditioning fee, the dealership delivered a truck that was "rigged" rather than repaired to OEM standards. While management has now offered a buyback or a partial reimbursement of $1,539.35, they are refusing to cover the actual $5,345.86 cost required to structurally weld and restore the vehicle to a safe condition. I have rejected these inadequate offers. I am proceeding with the full structural restoration at my own expense to ensure the vehicle is safe for the road. The North Carolina DOJ (File #2026-172047), SCDCA (Case #C26-02291), and Toyota Brand Engagement (Case #260415000903) have all been updated with forensic photographs of the concealed damage .I am seeking full restitution for the fraudulent reconditioning fee and the actual cost of structural repairs. Potential buyers should be aware that "Just Better" reconditioning at this dealership may include hot glue on a compromised frame.
