I've had problems with my stereo since I purchased my F150. It locks up, freezes, blank screen, or shows the backup camera while I'm driving down the freeway. When I bring it in, they say they "can't find the problem" then conduct a master reset of the stereo and send me on my way. I've had it looked at several times for the same issue over that last few years. I'm now out of warranty and they won't even look at the SAME issue again unless I pay them. I now have to conduct a master reset on the stereo weekly... with little affect. I would not trust a dealership (that I purchased the truck brand new from) if they won't stand behind their work. More
The salesperson (Marvin) was professional and informative. However, the finance person (Pat) exagerated benefits. For instance, Pat informed us that our insurance company, Geico, would "for sure" informative. However, the finance person (Pat) exagerated benefits. For instance, Pat informed us that our insurance company, Geico, would "for sure" credit up to $15 toward the insurance if we had a anti-theft tracking device installed. Geico actually give $0 credit towards theft devices. Pat also said we didn't have a option for the device because it was already installed. However, the contract states that it is "Optional". The device cost $569.00 + $130 interest over 6 years for something we don't want or need . Although that is a small amount considering the price of the car, we still feel cheated by his deception. He also didn't inform us that we were being charged for the device until the end of the contract when that should have been disclosed as part of the price added to the cost of the car up front. When we asked that the cost be subtracted the dealer said no and offered a free oil change as a compensation for the charge. If consumers are forced to pay fees above the price of the car then that should be included with the price up front. I would not buy a car from this dealer again. More
Louis in the service department is awesome. He went over above and beyond in ordering a part for my wife’s CMax and got us finished and back on the road first thing Friday morning. I was pushed into an appointment time I wasn’t sure I would make (I get it, you don’t want to stay late and work a deal during the kings game). I was VERY a clear about what I was trying to do and my previous quotes and experiences. After being show. A base model f150 with paint damage (from sitting due to a lack of silicon chips) I was shown the most outrageous lease proposal I have ever seen. I was asked if I was Us citizen because I didn’t want to provide a social security number until we had estimated figures. They still have Added dealer markup on F150s despite ford increasing prices and margins for them. I was made to feel like a jerk for wasting Travis Cordero’s time and was rudely sent home. I wasn’t rude, I didn’t yell our use profanity, I just expressed my objections. Respectfully and peacefully. I tried to reach out to the GM and GSM via email but neither responded. I’m sure MR. Peterson will give his standard canned response on Yelp and change nothing. Mr. Peterson, times are changing and you can’t let your staff treat people this way much longer. Look for copies of this review on every site I can find as well as a formal complaint to the BBB about racially motivated questions as well as a formal complaint to FoMoCo. More
Brought in a escape Thursday morning. Had too order rims already had the tires. Rims arrive 8:30. But significant damage underneath, nobody took the time to call, but they had time to do repairs that are needless. FOLSOM LAKE FORD will NOT win any JD POWER AWARDS and is just a cut above a "junk yard used car lot"...MAYBE!!!!! My Military spouse called and spoke to Ken. We were approved by the dealership manager to us just a cut above a "junk yard used car lot"...MAYBE!!!!! My Military spouse called and spoke to Ken. We were approved by the dealership manager to use a specific Family discount program due to his grandfather AND Uncle retiring from FORD to purchase a specific vehicle they said they currently had on the lot the day we called and went to the dealership(11/6/2021). Once we both drove our vehicles to the dealership(over 45 miles from our home in the rain), we then found out the dealership had 'dealer traded " that same vehicle the day BEFORE and it was no longer available. At this point we felt lied to and disappointed but looked at other vehicles since we were there already, which was probably their "plan" all along. The dealership low balled our 2018 and 2021 trade ins and refused to negotiate. Management was extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and PATRONIZING and frankly I don't know how anyone could work for or with someone who could speak so degrading to women in general. While I understand we are in a pandemic , and I understand about supply and demand I do NOT understand their BAIT AND SWITCH tactics, their LACK of good CUSTOMER SERVICE, or their LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM by MANAGEMENT namely MIKE WRIGLEY and 2 other Men in his office. Do not shop or sell at FOLSOM LAKE FORD- They don't care if you have retired from FORD, or if you serve in our MILITARY OR have a valuable trade in, they are insulting and only care about what kind of money they can extract from you!!!
