I liked the quick service, very friendly advisor. I just hate the ton of emails and mails I keep receiving from Toyota even after asking them multiple times to stop! I just hate the ton of emails and mails I keep receiving from Toyota even after asking them multiple times to stop! More

I am usually the first one to write a positive review, and I have never written a negative one before. But I feel I need to warn others — buyer beware of the used cars at Folsom Lake Toyota. On August and I have never written a negative one before. But I feel I need to warn others — buyer beware of the used cars at Folsom Lake Toyota. On August 4, 2025, I purchased a used 2016 Acura RDX. Before signing, I specifically asked if the vehicle had been inspected and if all maintenance was up to date. I was told it was and that the car needed nothing. I was never given the inspection report. As soon as I got it home, something didn’t feel right. I took it to Niello Acura of Roseville, where they found overdue maintenance and repairs totaling $3,800, including a transmission flush, water pump, timing belt (overdue by age), and an oil pan gasket seeping. Niello Acura told me this car should not have been sold in that condition. It is a great car, but it needed maintenance that was out of date. I went back to Folsom Lake Toyota. After multiple inspections, calls, and emails with their staff (Ben Sullivan, Tony Clay, and Matthew Davila), they said they would take care of the transmission flush and possibly reimburse me. That was never done. Despite being a repeat customer, my calls and emails since then have gone unanswered. The lack of transparency and integrity throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. In contrast, Roseville Toyota has always treated us with professionalism, honesty, and high integrity. They are transparent, straightforward, and stand behind their word. We have worked with both dealerships, and the difference in how customers are treated could not be clearer. For comparison, both Niello Acura and Roseville Toyota have been professional and trustworthy in my experiences. Folsom Lake Toyota, however, has lost my trust completely. I would not recommend Folsom Lake Toyota at any level. If you are shopping for a car, go to Niello Acura or Roseville Toyota instead, where integrity and customer care still matter. More

On 8/30, I went in for the annual $99 maintenance special that Toyota does about every 6 months. I have used this coupon and have had this exact service done to my car for the last 3 years. Everything was al that Toyota does about every 6 months. I have used this coupon and have had this exact service done to my car for the last 3 years. Everything was always included in it too. I never had any issues. That was until Saturday August 30, 2025. I go in at 6am to drop off my car. I was greeted by service adviser Paul Barwick. He gets my keys and I always tell whoever is my service provider, “I am extremely picky, and I need no one to mess with or adjust my seat settings because I do not know how to fix them. Also, no radio turned on.” I say this due to issues in the past at the Toyota service center about idiots not listening to me and messing up big time my settings, and I have to figure them out. Normally, advisers will write my requests done; however, he did not. Next, we go in to discuss the services that are to be done: $99 maintenance special and a free recall. He then puts my name in the computer to “pull up” my file. I later discover he lied to my face and to my father about my real files. He said, “I cannot do this special because I have never done this coupon before. However, I cannot honor the $130 cost it originally is. Let’s look here, 2024 you spent $242, 2023 $500, there is no $99 special ever listed.” But then when I got home, I had 3 receipts kept from those previous years about all services I had done. He also told my dad, “It would also be an additional cost for wipers blades, and that it would be $30 extra for synthetic oil, and that the car only takes synthetic oil and no other blend.” The coupon does not specify this, and there never has been an issue in the past with using this coupon. We pick up my car, and the receipt shows no wiper blades were installed, and the authentic oil was included but at the $130 price. Also, my seat was screwed up. Toyota, I am extremely unsatisfied and disappointed in the dishonesty and non transparency of Paul. At this point, I will never come back to Folsom Lake Services ever again. He really upset my father and I, and I am wondering how many other families he was dishonest to and screwed them over. Please investigate more into Paul Barwick. Sincerely an unsatisfied customer, Rachel Walsh More
Every person I talked to were very polite and attentive. Lain was our main guy and he was exceptionally amazing, patient and kind. And Skyler brought it all together meaning the financial part.
