I took my boyfriend’s car in for their 20k oil change and tire rotation and I spent all day here. I had an appointment at 11 am, I showed up at 10:40 and it was busy; I was checked in at 11 and was told that tire rotation and I spent all day here. I had an appointment at 11 am, I showed up at 10:40 and it was busy; I was checked in at 11 and was told that there is a 2 and half hour wait for them to even look at the car. I was planning on staying at the dealership since I was expecting a short trip but didn’t expect at least 2 1/2 hours. They offered a possible lift within 10 miles but I leave out side of the radius so I stayed. I waited the 2 1/2 hours and then asked if they had started the car and was told that they were about to so I was only expecting one more hour of being there. I received a text at 2.30 asking if I wanted a new air cabin filter which I declined. I didn’t receive my car till 6:30 at which the service center was closed and I was asked what car I was waiting for More

I had an appointment for a tire rotation. I showed up 10min early and handed over my vehicle. After waiting 2.5hrs with my 2 year old, I tried to ask one of the receptionists how much long I showed up 10min early and handed over my vehicle. After waiting 2.5hrs with my 2 year old, I tried to ask one of the receptionists how much longer it would take. She said it wasn't ready and said go talk to Aaron (service advisor) and waved me away. I went to find Aaron but he wasn't at his desk so we had to wait longer. When he came back, he said he would go check. He came back and told me that it was on the lift right now. I asked why it was taking so long and he said it just got on the lift and "the heat was wearing the guys down. " I asked what the point of appointments are if they don't start the service until 2+hrs after the appointment time. He said, "Well, you're still ahead of the walk-ins. It'll be fine in 20 minutes." 30 minutes later, the van was ready (more than 3hrs after my appointment time). I understand that it is very hot and the service techs need to rest and hydrate. But management needs to take that into account and schedule fewer appointments when they know it will be hot. Aaron also could have advised me when I checked in that they were running behind and it would probably take 3hrs. Aaron was also condescending upon check-in when I told him we were there for our first Toyota Care service. He said, "you should've already brought it in before 20k miles." We've only owned the car for less than 4k miles, as we bought it used. I tried to call and speak to the manager. I had to leave a message. I called and left another message. He still hasn't called me back 4 days later. There were so many opportunities to provide better customer service and they chose not to. More
