On July 3rd my check engine light came on. We had just picked up our friend from the airport and had a weekend of plans to show her around California. I was immediately thinking whatever the problem was would cost me $800. We usually go to Thompson’s in Placerville but decided to call Folsom Toyota because we didn’t have the time to drive up the hill- and frankly weren’t sure if we’d make it. My fiancé was working on his Toyota so we ran our code reader at home and let the service rep know what it said. Tran asked for the vin and the mileage and said that it might be covered under a warranty if their diagnosis pulled the same code. She said they had the part in stock and put the last one on hold for me. I drove over and Tran came outside to greet me and get me checked in, it was excellent service and I felt really taken care of. After an hour and a half working in their quiet office space, Tran let me know that my car was ready to go. We were able to enjoy our weekend plans and show our friend around, and the issue was covered under the car’s warranty. Thank you Tran for taking care of us and helping me get back on the road so quickly! You saved the day! More
