The dealership was good, but there are a few improvements I could see. The lounge area was not very comfortable and there were no close power outlets for charging phones/laptops while working. It was our second time buying a brand new car. First time was an awesome experience at a different Toyota dealership. This second time was very much of a nightmare… We paid a $500 deposit for a new 2023 Toyota rav4 hybrid. We waited over 2 months for our car to arrive. We finally get a text saying the car was ready yesterday. My husband tells the sells man(Sean) that we couldn’t make it in till Saturday so he proceeds to explain the 48 hour hold. So my husband gets the afternoon off and we head to the dealership. When we get there we see someone test driving our car. We weren’t too sure it was ours but assumed because of the color. We told them we were there to pick up our car, a manager comes out saying my husband didn’t show interest so they moved on the waiting list and that our 48 hour hold had expired. Not even 24 hours had gone by from the moment we got their text. Manager proceeds to say he will fix the problem and then sales man comes and says “ok you can take the car it was a misunderstanding”. We then proceeded to complete paperwork and were sent to “AJ” in charged of taking our payment which we paid in full, no financing. AJ was really nice at first not until we kindly declined extended warranty on the car. He insisted we needed to get the extended warranty, and we said no thank you we don’t want it, that’s when his attitude changed 100%. He was extremely rude!!! Made us feel extremely uncomfortable. What a stressful night! We did get the car but will never use Folsom toyota, never again. Sean was great and made things better with his kindness and professionalism . Thank you Sean for helping us! This was my first service with my 2015 Toyota Tundra, and I had initially brought Pierre AKA "Rocky" provided the most exceptional customer service. This was my first service with my 2015 Toyota Tundra, and I had initially brought in my vehicle for a oil change. Since this was my first service since owning the vehicle, I wanted to be sure I had a multi point inspection completed. Though an oil leak was found near the cam towers by the engine, I was very happy to hear the seals were covered under my existing extended warranty. Rocky was sure to keep me updated throughout the entire warranty process to have the repairs covered. While my vehicle was in the shop for 11 days, I was able to have an rental vehicle for the weekend while the service was completed. I'm thoroughly impressed with all of the staff and the technician that worked on my vehicle. I am looking for to having future services at Folsom Lake Toyota for my family and I with all of our vehicles. Best regards, Matt More
