First time buying a Toyota and after this dealer, it will probably be my last. I spent $50, 000 on a vehicle from them and as soon as I drove off the lot I cannot even get a return phone call. This dealer ma probably be my last. I spent $50, 000 on a vehicle from them and as soon as I drove off the lot I cannot even get a return phone call. This dealer marks up their cars by adding side moldings that cost $245 thru Toyota, but they charge $1500 and a car alarm. I purchased my car over 30 days ago and have yet to have anyone call me to install the items. I finally got ahold of their sales manager Carl and informed him I do not want their side moldings now that I have seen them on the street and his response was I can give you black out emblems in exchange which again I don't want and Toyota charges only $160 for them. He then told me well that is how we make money on the car and I can just change your contract and just up charge you the $1500 and you will get nothing in exchange....... They are a scam dealership I would advise you go else where. I should not have to fight with a dealership after spending $50k. More
I made an appointment to test drive bZ4X, the salesperson was knowledgeable about the vehicle and showed the basic features. However, when I wanted to test drive the vehicle his manager Carl came and demande was knowledgeable about the vehicle and showed the basic features. However, when I wanted to test drive the vehicle his manager Carl came and demanded to photocopy my driver's license. I offered to show my driver's license but declined to allow a photocopy. Carl proceeded to utter something about "corporate policy". I left the dealership in utter dismay. They should disclose the policy of photocopying driver's licenses during the test drive appointment process and not when the customer shows up at the dealership. This dealership is a third-rate dealer staffed by uninformed managers with zero knowledge of customer service. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
So I called up toyota folsom regarding bringing in my truck that is under warranty for repairs as the heater broke down. The lady at the toyota service front desk said I could bring it in. I asked her if truck that is under warranty for repairs as the heater broke down. The lady at the toyota service front desk said I could bring it in. I asked her if toyota could provide a rental incase they need to keep the car overnight to which she responds I can't answer that as it's on first come first serve basis. I explained I don't have alternatives and would need some way to go to work. She said they might be able to provide shuttle service but that is also a might. I said I would call later to make an appointment. As her answer was not very satisfactory I went to their website https://support.toyota.com/s/article/If-my-vehicle-require-7653?language=en_US And low and behold it clearly mentions The warranty repairs will take longer than one day to complete. (3) The warranty condition requires extensive diagnosis. The parts needed for the warranty repairs are not readily available and your vehicle is inoperative or unsafe to drive. For additional details, please refer to the Warranty and Maintenance Guide or speak to the Customer Relations Manager at your local Toyota dealership. (1) The loaner vehicle may not be the same model as your current vehicle. (2) The Transportation Assistance Policy applies to all 1998 and later model year Toyotas having warranty repairs performed by authorized Toyota dealerships in the continental United States and Alaska. The Transportation Assistance Policy applies for the duration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. (3) The Transportation Assistance Policy does not apply when warranty repairs can be completed in one day but the vehicle must be kept overnight due to dealership or owner scheduling conflicts. So I called her and mentioned that their website mentions that they do provide cars when in warranty and it's not first come first serve basis she got upset and said she is just a front desk person So I told if that's the case then instead of providing incorrect information why not direct me to someone who has the correct information. Could have saved a lot of anguish for both of us if she just read the policies. If in a customer service position don't misinform customers remember you are a customer somewhere yourself at some point More

Had a great buying experience in 01/26/2022. I bought a used Toyota Corolla, I didn't haggle and had my own financing. I bought and paid for $1500 service warranty. In March I received a notice I bought a used Toyota Corolla, I didn't haggle and had my own financing. I bought and paid for $1500 service warranty. In March I received a notice from Toyota Financial Services that my warranty had been declined due to the car's mileage being over the limit. I tried contacting AJ, my finance person who never did call me back and worked up to Alex Vaca who scanned my documentation and referred me to Carrie Kaiser, Finance Mgr. who agreed to refund the money then didn't. Everyone agrees I'm due a refund to my loan account but they will not process it. They have scanned the warranty contract and the letter from Toyota declining to honor the warranty contract. With the warranty declined and never going into effect, they also have the $1500 they've been holding onto all this time . My next step is the BBB or DA? I guess they think I'm a stupid old woman who will just go away but $1500 rip off is a lot for me to leave at Folsom Lake Toyota. Shame on them. I think I'll persist until the money is back in my bank account. More
On Thursday 10/20/22, It started great, I found a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT with approx. 97,000, sales price 19,964. I had $5000 to put down. We started the paperwork which I said, NO options. I did agree to Ford Explorer XLT with approx. 97,000, sales price 19,964. I had $5000 to put down. We started the paperwork which I said, NO options. I did agree to one option, which was the GAP for $995 but two additional options (KARR $995 & Service plan $3795) were put on the contract. The way the finance manager presented them was if they fell under the $995 cost. Not one time, did he (Mo) reveal that each had a cost associated. He distracted me and my wife from seeing the final numbers on the contract. We signed an electronic contract and Mo stating, "just get in the rhythm of signing". little did we know, and we should have double checked the numbers, and the finance manager should have confirmed or went over the cost line by line. The final cost was $27, 549.79 for a $20,000 vehicle. My $5000 should have brought the loan amount to $17,700. I felt taken advantage of because the contract was signed and now, I feel stuck. I want for Folsom Lake Toyota to remove the options, put my $5000 down making my loan amount $17,700ish. Finance tactics are very unethical and professionally have the upper hand at deceiving customers into signing paperwork to later see unwanted options. If the finance manager Mo would have stated the service contract was $3795, I would not have agreed to this, but I caught it after the fact. What can I do? More

Folsom Lake Toyota was a real pleasure to work with. The salesman, Vlad, was honest and transparent from the beginning and was very quick to respond to inquiries we had throughout the process.
