If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Ford of New Port Richey has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share the details so other customers know e My experience with Ford of New Port Richey has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share the details so other customers know exactly what they may be walking into. Timeline of Events • My vehicle (2016 Ford F-150) was at this dealership from July 2 through August 22, 2025 — a staggering 52 days — for a repair that should have taken no more than six hours. • Throughout this period, I received little to no communication, constant delays, and multiple misrepresentations regarding the status of the repairs and my extended warranty (which I purchased directly from this dealership). • Upon picking up my vehicle, not only were several services incomplete or improperly done, but I also discovered a brand-new front-end noise clearly caused by their work, leaving the truck unsafe to drive. Specific Issues 1. Oil Change – Invoiced but Never Performed - The service oil light was still on when I picked up the truck. - No service decal was placed for the next interval. - When questioned, the service advisor falsely stated “there’s no way to verify” whether the oil was changed, which is untrue — a simple dipstick or filter check would confirm it. - They reset the oil light and affixed a sticker, despite never performing the service. - Photos prove the filter was never replaced, yet I was billed for a Motorcraft filter. This is blatant misrepresentation and billing for work not performed. 2. Rack & Pinion Replacement – Alignment Never Performed - I specifically requested an alignment to be done. - No documentation was provided despite repeated requests. - The truck now pulls to the left, confirming no alignment was completed. - Alignment specs, service dates, and technician records have been withheld to this day. 3. TPS Sensor Replacement – Improper Completion - TPS sensors were replaced under warranty, which required unseating the wheels. - Standard procedure requires rebalancing afterward, yet this was skipped. - The truck now has a vibration that did not exist before their service. - No proof of balancing or technician notes have been provided. 4. Multi-Point Inspection – Never Documented - Invoice reflects a “multi-point inspection” was done. - No findings (brake/disc wear, fluid levels, tire tread, etc.) were ever provided. - Multiple requests for the documentation have been ignored. 5. Warranty & Service Delays – Mishandled - I purchased an extended warranty through this dealership. - Mismanagement of the contract delayed repairs for over six weeks. - I received no written explanation, no timeline, and no loaner vehicle. - I was without my vehicle for over two months, incurring significant personal and financial hardship. Concerns • This dealership has billed for services not performed. • Repairs that were done were incomplete or done incorrectly, creating new safety issues. • Documentation was either falsified or withheld, raising serious concerns about recordkeeping and transparency. • Customer service has been dismissive, evasive, and in some cases, outright dishonest. Aftermath I repeatedly requested written confirmation of their verbal promise to reimburse me for having the services corrected at another shop. To date, nothing has been provided. Communication has now gone completely silent. Because of these actions, I have filed complaints with: • The Florida DMV (which oversees dealership licensing) • The Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services • Pasco/Pinellas County Consumer Protection • Ford Corporate and Fidelity Warranty Services Bottom Line This dealership has demonstrated a pattern of misrepresentation, failure to perform contracted work, and potentially fraudulent billing. Beyond the inconvenience, this has created new mechanical issues, safety concerns, and financial loss. If you value honesty, safety, or even basic competence, I urge you to avoid Ford of New Port Richey at all costs. More
