After my service and leaving the dealership I made a stop. I noticed smoke coming from under my hood and the smell of oil burning. I figured they must have had some oil drip onto the engine. When I opened the hood I could see oil splatter all over. there was oil spots on the underside of the hood, the cowl, the inner fenders, engine components, the windshield wipers and some on the lower windshield. When I got home I spent about and hour cleaning it up. Its a real pain to get oil spots off everything. I always keep my vehicle very clean and under my hood is no exception. I always wipe where I can when I wash the vehicle. It appears the mechanic had a mishap when filling the oil and I could see where he did some wipe up but left a lot of areas spotted. I called my service person and advised of my displeasure with the under hood condition and issue. She apologized and stated she would let the service manager know. More
