This is our best car buying experience ever. We had contacted the dealership by e-mail prior to our visit. When we arrived for our appointment, our sales representative (Justin Clyburn) was ready We had contacted the dealership by e-mail prior to our visit. When we arrived for our appointment, our sales representative (Justin Clyburn) was ready to meet with us. He listened to our description of what we wanted in a new car and he laid out a number of options for us. Also, he described the special offers and promotions that were available. We never felt as if we were being pressured or steered toward a particular choice. Our impression was that Justin was there to answer our questions and to come up with options that best fit our needs. He is an outstanding salesman. Our experience with the Finance staff was equally positive. Steve Martinez and Scott Kline were able to arrange the financing package for us very quickly. This is our sixth Toyota and the first that we have purchased from Fred Anderson. This dealership has won our business from now on. More

Tow package debacle My issue is with the service department. I arrived to have a tow package installed for my 2019 Highlander. I was told I should wait as it would take 1 My issue is with the service department. I arrived to have a tow package installed for my 2019 Highlander. I was told I should wait as it would take 1.5 hrs to complete. I arrived at 12;15 for a 12:30 appointment. I was quickly greeted, provided my cell number, and confirmed that the service would take 1.5 hours. 2 hours later I asked a service rep for an update. She took my information and asked me to return to the waiting area where she would find me for my updated status. After 30 minutes she had not returned. Now I had been there for 2 hours. I stepped out again, saw the lady who promised me the update and she reply that she had not forgotten me. I responded that she must have as that it had been a half hour with no update. I stood there for another 10 minutes or so when another lady asked if I had been helped. I explained my situation and she offered to help. She checked the system and indicated that there was a problem. She asked me to wait, she left and returned shortly. I was advised that there was only one tech who did tow packages and that my car had been delivered to the wrong bay and sat for 1.5 hrs while no one did anything to determine the status of my vehicle. It was finally moved to the only tech who does tow packages. In my business we call this a SPOF (single point of failure). When it was all said and done I arrived at 12:15 and left the dealership at 3:30. I did receive an apology that did little resolve my anger. A little extra effort on the part of the Techs to find out what needs to be done to the Highlander in the corner would have gone a long way. Maybe I would not had been so disappointed if they had run my car through their wash and topped off the tank as a way of saying we screwed up and we will do better the next time you drive all the way from Clayton. More
