While calling in advance to make an appointment, arrived and the vehicle was not ready. On the day of the actual purchase of the vehicle, it was not ready for delivery. The tailgate was still missing, even though it was noted to be replaced at the time of the test drive two weeks earlier. When calling to finalize the price and agree a time to pick up the vehicle, no one mentioned that it was still missing. Only on arrival did I learn that it had not yet been replaced and would take a few more days to be done. We agreed that the part would be delivered to the Fred Anderson Toyota service department in Raleigh, to be installed, as that was closer to Durham. That was appreciated and we will continue with service at that deadlership, however collecting the vehicle incomplete was disappointing. Lastly, the car was to be detailed before delivery. While it was washed on the outside and the interior cleaned, other areas of the vehicle did not receive any attention. Storage compartments inside and in the truck bed were filthy, as was inside the gas-fill door. Plus, the back of the passenger cab - in the gap between it and the truckbed - was visibly dirty with dried-on pollen and dirt. Poor job detailing. As the purchase process took some time, and coming from Durham to collect the vehicle, I was ready to take it home that day, therefore did not want to wait any longer for additional cleaning. However that was also disappointing. More

I'm still waiting. Overall services were average as usual but have to recheck after their work to make sure things are normal. The engine oil was very low below the add mark after a 270,000 mile service, no room for mistakes on my 2000 4Runner. More
