You have been warned. 2nd opinion completed today, 2/12/2024 (as a follow up to my local Lexus dealer 2/2/2024 inspection) on the Freeman Toyota UNDISCLOSED MAJOR DAMAGE that MUST be repaired. VEHICLE DECLARED UNSAFE TO DRIVE. 2nd opinion confirmed the damage and necessary repairs. Tremendous force to left rear requires $8,000 - 10,000 to repair - rear axle assembly, lower trailing arms and associated parts and recalibrations. Left rear tire was moved to spare and welded to 'hide' the obvious damage. CarFax? - 'NO ACCIDENTS.' In a follow up call with my concerns on 2/2/2024, the response I received from my salesman Julio Guerrero was simply and without concern for my being blown away by just learning of this gut punching news, "The vehicle you purchased 1/26/2024 had been inspected by 'Our Certified Toyota Technicians.'" WOW - now there's your sign! Both technician groups that completed their inspections to assess the damage are scratching their heads. "There is absolutely NO WAY THIS WAS MISSED by the selling dealer. Especially if they they completed a wheel alignment and 'used car' inspection as documented." My recommendation? RUN! PROTECT YOURSELF and avoid the misery and disappointment. Find an ethical group of people to spend your hard earned dollars on such a major purchase. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR DEALERSHIP - Freeman Toyota Hurst, Texas. And DON'T TRUST CARFAX either. Shame on me for trusting them both. I only wish I could give ZERO stars to Freeman Toyota and protect all other unsuspecting victims. More
