We have taken our GMC truck to the service dept a few times and the experience has always been terrible. If there was any other GMC dealership close we would never go back. Today for instance, my husband has called them twice and been left on hold for 20 minutes, then 25 minutes, then they just hang up! He dropped the truck off on Thursday 7-8 to check some warning lights that came on. They couldn’t find anything wrong and asked to keep it overnight to check when the engine was cold. Today is Monday 7-12 and we can’t get them to answer the phone and they never called on Friday. On a previous visit my husband called about a recall and was advised to bring the truck in the next morning and the work would be done quickly while we waited. When we got there, we were told the replacement part had to be ordered so the work couldn’t be done that day. We live about 25 minutes away from the dealership so that was a complete waste of time. We will probably have to start taking the truck to Roseville when we bought it for any other service, which is over 60 miles away. This is truly the worst service dept, so please don’t waste your time taking your vehicle here. More

My boyfriend had been looking for a specific truck for months and we COMPLETELY LIED TO and they WASTED OUR TIME!!! CON ARTISTS TO THE MAX!!! My boyfriend had been looking for a specific truck for months and we finally found one at this dealer. We called to make sure they had truck as my boyfriend lives in Wellington Nevada and I live in Rocklin so we'd be coming from HOURS AWAY to see the truck. They let us know they had it and it was just getting off of the truck and it wouldn't be ready until 4pm. We got there a little early (20 mins) and the truck hadn't been looked at yet. We noticed all kind of paint issues, rust on the inside and outside, and other issues like dents. While we were there we found another same exact truck (a year older) in better condition. We fell in love with the other truck, test drove it and we were sold. We still wanted to test drive the black truck just in case but we told them we wanted the white one and we'd come back in the morning. That way we could still see the other truck (the black one) but we were ready to make a deal on the white one. They knew we wanted the white one. They told us to come back the next day at 11am because that when our sales guy would be in. They texted us that night to make sure we were coming back and they also texted us that morning to make sure we were coming in. We told them MULTIPLE times we were for sure buying the white one and we were coming from an hour and a half away. They told us to tex them when we were 10 mins out. We were not even 10 mins out from the deal when they said someone else was looking at the truck. We got there and they told us they already sold the truck and that they no longer have the black one because they took it back due to the truck being in a flood previously!!!! These JERKS let us drive from hours away just to tell us they had sold the truck!!! As we were PISSED walking out they were trying to sell us a new truck when we told them MULTIPLE TIMES we were only interested in a certain year. My roommate is an auto finance manager (so he's in the business) and I also just bought my dad a car for xmas so I know how long it takes to do a deal and paperwork when buying a car. These JERKS already had the truck sold before we even got there because the people they sold it to were already walking out, truck keys in hand. THEY LIED TO US!!! They just wanted us to come back so they could try and weasel us into buying a different truck. Oh and I checked their site today (3 days later) and they still have the black truck up for sale. I bet they knew they couldnt fool us with the truck, hid it, and is now trying to sell it to someone else hoping they won't notice all the issues with the truck. Their loss that they lost our business, we had over 10K cash in hand and they missed out. Maybe they should learn how to sell cars properly. And now seeing how many bad reviews this place had I wish we would have never wasted our time here. So don't bother with this place, go else where. More
Went in bought a used Ford and warranty, 1 year later ford fuel system fail and ruined my motor and the shady warranty doesn’t cover none of it.... There is a lawsuit against Ford for this. The worst car buying experience of my life I called ahead what the antenna buying a truck and was told there would not be a problem and it would be ready for purchase. Port arrival we agreed on a price I went to the bank right down the street to get a cashier's check which I did and the agreed-upon amount but when I return they drag it out until the banks were closed and then looked at me and said they were sorry but they could not verify the funds because banking hours were over and too bad but I couldn't buy the truck. The sales manager came out and told me the same thing without missing a beat. I asked them why they waited so long purposely until 10 minutes after banking hours were closed and he said sorry about that. It was extremely discriminatory and I could feel the racism coming out of the air in that place. Even the apology was fake and I feel like I have to take a shower just walking out of that place. Don't ever go to Buick GMC of Vacaville if you value your sense a fairness or pride. More

Something is Missing in the way they do business I traded my Cadillac ATS in and the trade in they offered was a few thousand less than three other dealers. I took the deal because the LEXUS we were I traded my Cadillac ATS in and the trade in they offered was a few thousand less than three other dealers. I took the deal because the LEXUS we were interested in was a few thousand less than a few others we looked at, so it seemed to come out even enough. We bought our last Volkswagon at a Volkwagon dealer and our Cadillac at a Cadillac dealer. This is the last time I will buy a car that is not sold from the dealer that makes them and stands behind the cars. This dealer was far more aggressive about selling us extended services and products than customer service. I think that the VW and the Cadillac service providers were always helpful and concerned about us getting the best deal for us and making sure our warranties paid for repairs and that we left happy and spent as little money as possible. They stood behind the name and it showed. This car dealership charged me for too many extras including a 5000 dollar extended warranty when the car only had 20,000. It is difficult to get them to take 10,000 worth of extras they charged and I have to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I was also promised free gas and free oil changes which appear to have been added to my loan at a hefty charge. I hope they realize someday that happy customers are better for business. I only put FAIR for quality of work because the display screen was too damaged to see the screen so we thought. I was getting ready to make an appt. with Lexus and bought car cleaning wipes and was able to rub hard enough and long enough to get the caked on junk blocking the screen display off. I think it could have and should have been cleaned better when they sold it. I assumed the screen was damaged and so did they when I asked. The screen display was distorted looking in the sun only. This happened in my Cadillac and they replaced the screen with no problem, so I assumed it was the same situation. . More

Excellent Service for my HHR I read other reviews before deciding to write this one. My experience was much different than many that I read. I did not purchase my vehicle from B I read other reviews before deciding to write this one. My experience was much different than many that I read. I did not purchase my vehicle from Buick GMC of Vacaville. But this dealership will provide service for all GM vehicles including Chevrolet and Cadillac. But when I am in this area of California, and because they provided me with excellent emergency service in the past, I take my HHR to them rather than the local Chevrolet dealership. The Service Advisor check-in personnel and the Shop Technicians are EXCELLENT! They actually talk WITH the customer and not AT or DOWN to the customer! The check-in process can be a bit slow and I would recommend adding a bit of time for the check-in to be completed. This is a computer issue because of a server problem that slows the check-in process immensely. Work performed on my vehicle has been EXCELLENT! The car is clean when delivered back to me, work accomplished is explained, if necessary and any future work that is deemed important is identified and explained. I can't fault Buick GMC of Vacaville for anything dealing with my repair experience except a really slow computer system. Management should look into getting a new system now that the local golf course has been closed! The work performed on my 2011 HHR at Buick GMC of Vacaville has been TOP-NOTCH! That's why I keep coming back! More
