Amazing Sales Experience, Poor Finance My sales experience at Norwalk Garavel with Gary Baumann was great, he was phenomenal. When I went into the dealership he had the keys ready for me to go look at the car. Being that this was my first time going into a dealership to buy a car on my own, I really like the fact that he went through everything with me step by step which I thought was really great! When I went in to pick up the car he took the time to help me set up my Bluetooth and answer any questions I had and even gave me the basics on driving a stick shift car. I can honesty say Gary's customer service was the best my family and I have ever experienced at a dealership! As for the finance I felt very rushed, and received a completely opposite attitude I received from sales. We were given optional extra warranties for the car which after turned down the tone of voice changed and we were told the same sales pitch about them another 3 or 4 times.When looking over my paperwork I saw there was an optional etching fee which I didn't want, when I stated that I didn't want that all I got back was attitude and smart remarks which I didn't find professional at all. Such as "if I didn't want to take the fee then I could cancel my deal and walk away". After a lot of back and forth and having to involve the Manager we got the deal done. Overall I'm very happy with my new car, and I would recommend Gary to any one looking to get a Subaru which is why I gave this dealership five stars but I would just warn them about the unprofessionalism with the finance. More

Great Sales experience, Poor Finance dept experience. For Sales, I rate Dave Novik tops, the very top. He was patient, and excellent in every category in helping me choose between an Outback and Forester For Sales, I rate Dave Novik tops, the very top. He explains everything thoroughly and says I can reach out to him to help me with all this new technology in the cars. Thank you, Dave. I appreciated your outstanding service. As for the Finance dept, I expected help in understanding and explaining the costs of the car and its fees, etc. But, what I got were sales pitches about all the added products I could get, without enough time to figure out what I would need and not need. If I had it to do over again, I would have walked out of the dealership. Those products would add up to $6000 on top of my new Limited Outback. Absolutely outrageous!! Best said, if I had talked with the Finance dept initially, I would not have bought a new car at this dealer. This is my opinion. More

After I lost out on a vehicle I was thinking about, Elvin sent me a whole list of others to consider (again, with my budget and preferences is mind). I was able to research them ahead of time and then come in and test drive what I really wanted. Elvin is 100% A+. Jose was fantastic and not pushy at all when considering extra warranty plans. He was very clear about what was and wasn't covered. He answered all of my questions clearly and directly. Everyone was super friendly and like I said, not pushy AT ALL. Which I really appreciated. Subaru's sell themselves for the most part, so it was nice to be able to purchase a car in a relaxed environment and not feel like I was getting pushed into the wrong fit just so they could make a sale. I really can't say enough nice/good things about the product and the people at this dealership! THANK YOU! More
