We bought our first Forester there 6 years ago and when we were in the market for a new car, back we went. They are friendly, have a great service department, and always have been good to us. Most important, they were able to get me the car I wanted at the best price I could find (and I got many quotes from other dealers). My salesperson, Trish, was very friendly and helpful and guided us through the process quickly and efficiently. I was able to take care of much of the negotiating and details by email or phone which saved me a great deal of time and I liked a lot. Very pleasant experience I never heard of Garavel Subaru until I paid a compliment to person parking a new Outback next to my car. The first words that came out from that person were compliments to the Garavel's team. I live in Brooklyn, NY and I have plenty of choices of dealerships around but they are either arrogant or their staff is not knowledgeable or both. Hence, of all the choices, I chose to go to Norwalk. At Garavel I found refinement, customer attention and respect, and above all, absolutely fantastic car that fell perfectly into my budget and timeline (there was a 9 week wait because of the color and options). Joe Zebro was "the guy" who deserves the credit. Special Thanks to Chaim Torheim for efficient paperwork on the day of delivery. I explained that I now had a reasonable idea of my trade value after searching the net and felt the price they had quoted was fair. I asked for residual, rate and payment and liked what I heard. I went in the next day and leased a new Impreza. Jay and Amanda could not have been more pleasant. The trade, price, residual and rate were all very fair and I got a bonus: my kids love the car. He was a pleasure to work with and receptive in meeting my needs. Travis gave me a tour of the dealership, including the service area. When I picked up the car, I met with Chaim Tornheim , the business manager, and he was very patient and a pleasure to deal with. The vehicle was exactly as I ordered, from the price, to the options and color. When I picked it up the car it was sparkling and Travis went over every option. High-quality ezperience My wife and I had never bought a car together before, even though we've been married for ten years. We knew we wanted a Subaru Outback, but there are My wife and I had never bought a car together before, even though we've been married for ten years. We knew we wanted a Subaru Outback, but there are four Subaru dealerships in our area. We spoke to all of them, and Garavel was by far the most responsive, friendly, professional, and attentive. To be honest, a few of the others seemed almost dismissive, as if it didn't matter if we bought the car, because someone would end up buying the limited inventory anyway. Maybe they are right, but Joseph Zerbo made us feel valued and wanted. Joe worked with us on options (buy v. lease, packages, monthly payments, etc.), and then Tom walked us through the numbers. He was also very professional and clear so we had no questions. Joe stayed in close contact once we had signed on the dotted line to make sure we knew when to expect delivery of the vehicle. When it arrived, to meet our work schedule, Joe and a colleague drove it to our house. I just brought the car in for the first oil change, and Joe was there to take care of us again. He paid out of pocket, himself, for the front license plate bracket that didn't come with the car when we got it, because it's the law to have a front plate in NY, and Joe didn't think we should absorb that cost. I would recommend to anyone to work with Joe and Garavel Subaru. More
