DEAN WELCH IS THE MAN!!!!! and JAMES McElroy is awesome!!! I called the dealership at 6:30 pm and was connected with Dean. I told Dean I needed a car today because I have no other transportation. Had a wonderful buying experience, thanks to Mike Comer I decided that I would go to Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to check out the Jeeps. I really didn't know exactly what I wanted but I did have a doll I decided that I would go to Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to check out the Jeeps. I really didn't know exactly what I wanted but I did have a dollar amount that I wanted to stay under. I also wanted several options such as a navigation system and blue tooth. Mike came out an greeted my husband and I. I have say that I really wasn't looking forward to dealing with a salesman. However it didn't take long to realize that Mike was a nice guy, and he was not the least bit pushy. I had decided in advance that if I got a pushy salesman I would just go somewhere else. I had no intention of allowing a pushy salesman to aggravate me. Much to my surprise Mike was so personable and so helpful and he was so knowledgeable about the vehicles that I looked at and drove. He answered all my questions and gave me a lot of good information. He also worked with me to say within my budget and get all the options I wanted and more. It was closing time and he never got in a hurry or gave me the impression that he was in a rush. After going back and forth between me and the Finance Manager a few times he came back and told me that they worked it out so I could buy the jeep. I was so happy that I got everything I wanted and them some. He took me back and introduced me to the finance manager and once again I was pleasantly surprised . I met Mike McElroy, the Finance Manager and he was so nice and helpful. He helped us get through the paperwork pretty quickly and he had a great sense of humor and he never gave me the impression that he wanted to rush me. He answered my questions and gave me a great deal on an extended warranty. I thought Mike would be gone by the time we were finished but he was still waiting.He stayed and went over some of the instructions again so I would at least know the basics. I took the jeep home that night and came back the next morning and Mike had it detailed and filed it up with gas. He also showed me around the service department and introduced me to one of the service writers and went over all the features in more detail. Everyone was so nice, This was hands down, the best car buying experience I have ever had. I would recommend these guys if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. I couldn't be happier with my Jeep Compass. I absolutely love it. Great vehicle, great experience, great price. Heck I even got in on the employee pricing event..
