They tried to kill me. I took my 1991 Ford Taurus in for an old recall on the subframe. After waiting 10.5 hours they gave me the car back not safe to drive. They performe I took my 1991 Ford Taurus in for an old recall on the subframe. After waiting 10.5 hours they gave me the car back not safe to drive. They performed the recall, but did not re-install an entire lower bushing. This made it so the car was nearly impossible to turn left. A very unsafe condition. I even supplied them with new bushings, as they weren't covered under the recall. They refused to install the bushings. I brought all of this to the attention of the service manager, John Lindsay, who admitted they should have installed the bushings. He then gave me a free oil change worth $37. I told him that was unsatisfactory, he shrugged. I have pictures and their word they screwed up. $37 is not worth them risking my life. Nic Ave More

I told him what I wanted for my trade ins and that was what I got with no hassle at all. I was very happy with the final price of my vehicle thanks to Josie. My finance manager suggested various addons and extended warranties but did not pressure me to purchase anything I did not want. And my custom service manager Germin (excuse me if I spelled it wrong) was more than helpful in the purchase and installation of accessories. In fact, he was exceptional. Thank you Germin. All in all I was more than happy with my experience and if they treat every customer the way I was treated I would highly recommend their dealership to anyone. More

The options we wanted didn't happen to be on their lot at this time but they were able to locate one. When it didn't come in when it was expected, Sean drove to pick it up so we could make our deal. We were planning a trip and that helped to allow us enough time to get the new plates, taxes, & insurance details taken care of without undue pressure. We had been working with another dealer, at another dealership, when he called to say he had the car we were looking for he told us a price. When we got there and sat down with the paperwork it was over 4 thousand more. We questioned the additional 4K, we were told it WAS ONLY 4K difference. We were reminded of ALL the features on the car, we reminded him of all the features it had that we DID not want. We walked away from the deal. The car was a 2012 and at Gaudin we were able to buy a 2014 for less. That allowed us to purchase the maintenance plan and still be under the cost of the other dealer with no extras. Everybody we came in contact with at Gaudin was welcoming. Even the other salesmen were willing to assist us while we waited for Sean to finish with another customer. We attended the new purchase class. I would highly recommend everyone attend that class, it will be worth your time. More

I have a Ford Explorer that has two doors that open only from the outside. I made an appointment on Monday for Wednesday at 8:00 am. I was first in line in the morning, and immediately after me a huge line formed. My service advisor, Bill Derry, appeared hungover and tired, hands shaking, as he was entering the information in the computer. He told me they might need to order parts, and I said, OK, let me know if that's the case, I'll pick up my car and bring it back when the parts are in. I called him mid day, but he had no update. At 4:30, I called again, I reminded him of who I was, he said they hadn't even looked at my car because I didn't have an appointment and they had to handle those customers first. I got really aggravated and I reminded him that I was the first in line at 8:00 am, and he mumbled something about "oh, well, they'll look at it sometimes tomorrow". I called back and asked for the service manager, Lisa, who looked into the situation, then she called me back and confirmed that, indeed, they hadn't looked at it and the techs leave at 4:00 pm. For the "inconvenience", I would get 10% off (WOW). I will see what they say tomorrow and decide if I trust them to actually fix the problem. I have TWO Fords and I will absolutely NEVER GO THERE AGAIN FOR ANY SERVICE ISSUE!!!!!!!! If it has to be done at the dealer, I'll go to a different one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Steering assist failure misdiagnosis During a two-leg road trip to Park city, UT via Las Vegas, on the first leg I got a warning message "steering assist fault:service required". Car did not lose steering assist however after the next key cycle (off/on) a steering assist failed message appeared and vehicle lost steering assist. The vehicle was driven carefully to Gaudin Ford After a few hours wait they told me the fault was caused by excessive tire pressures )really?) and they had reset the fault code (C102D - excessive friction in steering rack). On the second leg around 40 miles from destination the same thing happened again - same fault code same result. Car was taken early next morning to Crandall Ford in Park City. After a short time they diagnosed the problem as a faulty steering rack. They issued a loaner car while rack steering assembly was replaced under warranty. Josh at Gaudin Ford was helpful and tried his best but the service personnel are incompetent and the dispatcher kept us waiting for hours despite Josh sending an email to the dispatcher to request an expedite. Got the feeling they just wanted to send me on my way. More

Second did not because credit card company thought it was fraud. Got that fixed. They said they tried to run it again after that. That was not true per American express. I wanted to pick up the cars on Friday. They asked for paperwork and had a question. I did not know what they wanted and responded 23 minutes later. 16 hours and 58 minutes later I got a response but not a answer to what they were looking for. I was told they were busy with other customers. I asked that they send the paperwork on the car we were not financing so we could pick it up. They did not do that. I guess it cost more to send two envelopes. Every email starting on Wednesday from them said they had to get this closed by the "END OF THE MONTH". I wanted it closed earlier since we had two salesman waiting on the cars. They finally sent the paperwork Thursday evening and an email asking me to send it back on Friday so they would get it closed by the "END OF THE MONTH". I asked if it was set for Saturday delivery so our salesman could get the car on saturday and be on the road the next week. They said they did. When I took it to UPS I was told it was not set up for Saturday delivery. It was set up for Monday delivery which is the last day of the month. The contract on the vehicle we were financing was incorrect. We wanted to finance about half of the car purchase. The contract was for the full amount of the purchase. They would not fix it because if they sent a new contract it would not arrive in time since they wasted so much time getting us the first one. Oh by the way their error means they make more money off of the finance charges. I should of called another dealership but that would mean our salesman would be renting additional rental cars for another week .When I demanded they send another contract all I got was if we do that we will not close this by the "END OF THE MONTH". We buy about a dozen cars a year around the country. Every other dealership I have worked with we are driving away in 48 hours. Not here. It took eight days before we drove off with the first one. I also have only received one contract on the two cars we bought. There were errors in the auto descriptions that never got corrected. The best part is after the cars were delivered I received an email that asked me to either give him the best evaluation score(lie) on the evaluation I was going to be sent or not respond at all. More

After shopping around for a vehicle on the north side of town and basically being insulted by other car dealerships shady, drawn out sales tactics, it was amazing that we merely made a call to Gaudin Ford explaining what we wanted and had the deal closed in 15 minutes! We knew what we wanted and how much it should cost and Gaudin Ford delivered it fast!! Upon arriving at the dealership I fully expected some last minute detail they forgot that would affect the payment or that the vehicle would be missing something we asked for, but nope, everything was exactly as promised and we were driving away in less than an hour! I cannot say enough about our salesman Julio Lazo, I credit him with the speed and ease of the deal. He was totally straightforward and made the entire process a breeze. If you are in the market for a Ford, save yourself the time and energy of haggling with old school, sheister car salesmen and go to Gaudin Ford. Ask for Julio and I know you will receive a fair deal without the usual drama. More
