I contacted the dealership to cancel the extended warranty and visited the office four times. Each time, I was told that the cancellation process would take approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Now that six weeks have passed, the finance statement still shows the extended warranty charge, and it has not been adjusted toward the principal. When I contacted the finance team again today, I was informed that the process could take 8 to 10 weeks instead. This has been a very frustrating experience and reflects poorly on the finance team’s handling of the situation. More

My genesis v 60 electric power failed WHILE I was driving it 2 weeks ago. I was extremely fortunate that this incident did not result in an accident. There have been documented recalls involving ICCU driving it 2 weeks ago. I was extremely fortunate that this incident did not result in an accident. There have been documented recalls involving ICCU unit failures in genesis electric model years 2022–2024. I experienced the same failure in my 2025 vehicle, which indicates the underlying defect has not been remedied. This raises concerns regarding product safety, disclosure, and the manufacturer’s duty to address known defects before additional harm occurs. Caitlin at Genesis claims department and the dealership told me it was “fixed,”reclaimed the loaner vehicle, and returned my vehicle to me. I expressed over and over that I did not feel safe driving this vehicle. Representatives at Genesis there told me that the Gv 60 has been taken off the market due to safety and other issues, yet I was told me to drive mine until it fails 4 more times. Genesis has demonstrated a disregard for consumer safety in this matter, and the situation warrants investigation. More
