I contacted Center Subaru and they had the car ready when we arrived. This was no easy task as we just had 18" of snow, but Chris Miller our sales associate had the car cleaned and sitting in front of the dealership when we arrived. This vehicle was for my 16 year old daughter and she fell in love with it right away. Fortunately the vehicle drove as well as it looked and Chris took note of our comments so that he could any minor issues prior to picking the vehicle up. Chris and his manager also worked with us on price and gave us a very fair price for our trade in. These efforts help me purchase a vehicle for my daughter without busting the bank, so everyone drove away happy. I want to thank Chris and Center Subaru for a great experience and helping make my daughter not only happy but safe. Jim Russo More
Excellent Experience I went back to Center Subaru (and Tracy Breen in particular), after having previously purchased a 2004 Outback (from a now-departed Center Subaru sale I went back to Center Subaru (and Tracy Breen in particular), after having previously purchased a 2004 Outback (from a now-departed Center Subaru salesman) and a 2008 Outback (from Tracy) at Center Subaru before. As before, I got a fair price in each case. Tracy is very knowledgeable and doesn't try to excessively pressure you. He's responsive to messages and doesn't stretch the truth. I'd go back there again. More

The experience at Center Subaru was entirely more positive than at the prior Dealer. My first visit I dealt with Chris who was great. When I returned, Chris was on vacation so I worked with Ray. Ray is professional, knowledgeable and was most concerned about what fit my needs best in terms of vehicle model and finances. I was so comfortable with my purchase that when I picked up my car I brought my wife and we ended up trading her car for a new Subaru as well. It is rare that you drive away from a Car Dealer after buying a car feeling completely satisfied Center Subaru was able to achieve this. I would highly recommend Center Subaru for anyone in the market for a new car. More

We bought a used car from them, a Hyundai, and got a killer deal on it because they mis-listed the mileage as too high. When the salesman realized the mistake he stuck to the advertised price, which made it quite a score. We worked with Majid, who was excellent and not condescending at all (which, since we're both women, is a big plus). We paid in full, so I did not deal with their financing department. The service there was quite good--we were attended to quickly, and everyone is super solicitous with all the water/coffee/tea offers. They do the back-and-forth to the manager thing, but plenty of dealerships play that game. They will also charge you for that VIN etching BS, and won't budge on it, but we were getting enough of a deal that I decided to let it go (also, most dealers in CT seem to pull that one). The day after I picked up the car I took it to my mechanic to have it inspected--I would highly recommend doing this, as then you can find problems while still within Center's 60-day warranty. My mechanic found a couple of small things and one big problem with the transmission. Center Subaru was great about scheduling me to have the issues fixed quickly, and gave me a loaner while they worked on the transmission problem. Ultimately, the transmission needed to be replaced, and they took it to Hyundai for me to have that done (car is still under Hyundai's warranty), which I deeply appreciate. Overall, I would highly recommend this dealership, as long as you're proactive about checking their used cars after you buy and do your research beforehand. They do seem to be a bit lacking in updating their web listings, or in listing the right features for their used stock, but the internet and carfax can solve those problems for you. More

George Coates took a little over 2 hours to spend time talking to me about both new and used cars. He, along with everyone there, was very pleasant and polite. I did not feel pushed into anything. They are very organized and it was a very spacious building. I had some difficulties with other dealerships and Torrington was great. I also called George a couple of times after we bought the car for some questions and he was always very helpful. I really appreciated that. More

From the second I walked in, until driving away with my new vehicle, I was treated with an unmatched level professionalism. My Salesman, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and energetic. He was just as excited about selling me a new car (but never pressured) as I was about buying it. And this continued long after I already put down a deposit. I love that! Price of the vehicle: Simple. Center Subaru sold it to me for $1,8000 less then any other dealership. Enough said. More
