I’m very disappointed with how Gabe in service worked with us. Firstly, he promised us a rental vehicle with hertz for $40 a day, an SUV and told us he spoke to the manager over there and to head over t with us. Our truck is currently being serviced and we needed a car asap. No courtesy vehicle was available since he said they only had two and they were already being used. We get to Hertz and then we are told there’s no SUV available and their rate is $44. I explained the situation and that Gabe spoke to the manager and we were told to head over and she did not accommodate or help us. I called Gabe and he had no remorse nor helped us mitigate the situation. He did nothing to help. Not even speak to the so called manager he originally spoke to. He could’ve at least called or texted to figure out what went wrong. We had to go to JAX airport for a rental and come out of pocket $600. Then we were told our diagnostic for our truck would be $130. We were never told it was $130 per HOUR. We get a message this morning saying our diagnostic is going to be $390 which then I call Gabe asking why this was because we were told something different and he said “I assumed it would only take an hour, but it’s going to take 3”, I asked him if there was any way we could work with this since he never said it was an hourly rate. He just said a pure diagnostic was $130 and that’s all. I am so frustrated and annoyed with the lack of help, explanation and assistance I’ve received here at George Moore. As someone who worked in the Auto industry for over 10 years this is the poorest service I’ve ever received or seen. I’ve worked in both sales and finance and had close relationships with service dept in my auto career and this is on the very bottom level. If we could’ve taken our vehicle elsewhere prior to going through all of this we 100% would’ve. Now our hands are tied. Poor service. Poor communication. Do better. More
On April 15,2024, I visited George Moore Chevrolet for transmission service on my truck and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by your team,particularly Didi.She was highly pro transmission service on my truck and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by your team,particularly Didi.She was highly professionals,ensuring .She kept her promise to inform me as soon as the diagnostic was complete. True to her word my truck was ready by April 17 ,2024. Gabe also deserves mention for his remarkable memory and customer service.
