We had our technician test the vehicle and the car itself tested good. We next charged the car with our charger and it took the charge and we charged the vehicle 100%. This was done at our expense and no charge to you for the technician's time and the charge. We are sorry your home charger needs to be examined and understand that is frustrating. It isn’t only the home charger as it would not charge on another type 2 charger in Westmont, IL. I told the service manager, Justin that and he stated there was no way he could test my car on a type 2 charger. He stated the car charges on type 1 & 3 chargers and that it has to be a software issue that Kia corporate must fix! Again, he told me that they are aware of the problem, but can’t fix it so, “It’s you want to make me the bad guy, then fine I’ll be the bad guy!” I’ve also filed complaints with Kia Customer Care. I’ve taken my car to Napoleon Kia and they were able to fix in 4 days what you couldn’t or wouldn’t do in 4 MONTHS!

It wasn’t my home charger! It was the ICCU like I said. Napleton Kia fixed it in 4 days! I’m now their customer since their service is so much better!
