Deceptive website, false advertising, broken promises. I even received warranty details. I arrived and the finance paperwork was awaiting a signature, that was when I was told that the warranty expired 13 days earlier and that corporate was firm on it. I was offered a 36 month warranty at half price. The car jumped in price now by thousands with less that half the warranty. A handshake with an apology and a three hour trip back home and the website is still showing the vehicle with an unlimited warranty. Horrible and costly experience from a company that doesn’t abide by their advertisements. More
Do not schedule an appointment for maintenance with Gerald Kia Naperville. They will not work on it the same day. When I sat with the salesman and asked for the price they marked up the sticker by $8k on a $55k Telluride. This was not displayed on the vehicle sticker and came as a shock. Knew the car I wanted, just needed to find a dealer with one. I was willing to travel out of state if I could find the car. Spoke with Melissa, she confirmed Gerald Kia having a Niro EX PHEV priced at msrp one. I was willing to travel out of state if I could find the car. I checked back on day 5 - same. On day 6 I left word: I'm setting a deadline for some reply. They missed that deadline. On day 8, a different salesman finally provided an off-the-lot price quote: 44000. That's 22 percent over msrp. Nope. No sale... I did find and buy the same car, same features elsewhere, for 5000 less. More

Had problem with headlights shutting off when driving in September 2022. Took in for service and diagnostic identified nothing. Today, June 2023 I received an extended warranty notice on this matter. I call September 2022. Took in for service and diagnostic identified nothing. Today, June 2023 I received an extended warranty notice on this matter. I called the service department immediately to set up a time to resolve my now recognized problem. Dealer phone called was answered by “Home of The Extended Warranty”. Only problem was no appointment was available for me for about 3 weeks. So much for extended warranty but no time available to perform the service. With this type of problem and high theft rate, I don’t see any Kia product in my future. Greatly disappointed! I purchased the SORENTO in Naperville but not happy. I did ultimately find another dealer out of my neighborhood that could address the matter near term. More
Bought a 2016 Kia Soul a while back, and even though the engine eventually gave out the dealership warranty covered the repairs.
