This dealership is the best. Good inventory , showroom is huge, they have a waiting area with free drinks/snacks, and all of the staff were friendly. We made an appointment online for a certain car and they had it pulled up with plates on ready to go. We worked with Sergio and Andre, Sergio was knowledgeable and took us through all the features then let us test drive by ourselves so there was no pressure. I worked pricing with Andre who was easygoing and had good vibes. The price was fair and they don’t use pressure tactics. We sat in an open space at a table, not some cramped office. Didn’t take long too get into finance and Michael (FM) was very thorough. The whole process was actually fun and quick. The GM (Carlos) was beyond nice and Anthony(manager) made the whole deal happen for us. If you’re looking to get a car, do it here. My daughter just purchased her first car ever. She went with a Kia Soul. Our experience with our salesperson, Casey was wonderful. She did everything in her power to make my daughter happy and even went the extra mile by driving to Iowa to get her the red car she wanted. HOWEVER, the day ended horribly. We were meeting with Jessica Johnson in the finance department to finalize the paperwork and she was horrendously rude and unprofessional when we questioned the fact that the monthly payment AGREED upon was incorrect. She refused to change it back to original agreed dollar amount. When speaking to us about the extended warranties she was very curt. Needless to say, we did NOT walk out with an extended warranty like we had planned. We simply did not trust her and we were done dealing with her condescending and disrespectful ways. What started out as an exciting and fun experience for my daughter and myself was ruined by this individual! I considered buying a Kia myself since I am in the market for a new car, but am second guessing this dealership knowing that a person like Jessica Johnson is allowed to work there and treat customers in such an awful way. I wish I could have given them more "stars". Had it not been for Jessica, I would have given a 5 star rating.... Casey, gets 5 stars from us... and Jessica, NO stars at all. More
On 11/22 stopped by to check sportage cars. I worked with one of the sales rep along with manager and have put in a deposit for a Kia sportage coming in January 2023. Later, my priorities got changed and needed a car in 3rd week of December. which I found with a different dealer. So, called on 11/29 and asked to cancel order. I was promptly told the order has been cancelled and refund had been issued back on the card. But I never received a confirmation email. Despite of following up multiple times.I was repeatedly told the same old story. But the deposit was never refunded. Until, I stopped by on 12/14 and asked for the cancellation confirmation receipt. After waiting for more than 30mins I get a confirmation receipt which doesn’t reflect the date of refund or the method of refund. And was advised to check with the back why the he refund wasn’t applied. After getting back home. I see, the deposit was refunded back on card. Which clearly tells that the refund wasn’t applied until 12/14. They have been lying all these days. So, Be careful when you put a deposit. And later, change your preferences. More

First, Jessica Johnson was an excellent representative for Kia. She was proactive, communicated clearly, and was very flexible. Regarding service, we would rate Jessica a 10. Frankly, our overall rating of the dealership and now our impression of Kia would be even lower if we hadn't enjoyed working with her and the fact that we simply love the vehicle. We feel Gerald Kia of Naperville is currently gouging its customers simply because it can. We received a $7K dealer markup over MSRP, amounting to about 15% of the total value of the vehicle. We had read stories of such practices online, but were really unprepared for the extent to which a dealership would take advantage of the current chip shortage and low inventory, in particular for a low emission EV hybrid. We budgeted for a more expensive vehicle and anticipated a higher APR due to inflation, necessitating perhaps more down to get a better deal (which we did). What caught us off guard and will result in us looking elsewhere in the next year or two as we look to upgrade our Toyota Prius to a full EV was the dealership policy in a seller's market. They were looking to take advantage of the situation and they did. For that reason and that reason alone, we would never recommend Gerald Kia. More
