The sales staff is first-rate (specifically Jim McGinn). The recent courtesy car wash is a great perk for me (I HATE doing the wheels!). I have recommended German BMW to numerous friends and colleagues. It has been a pleasure to have been associated with Germain BMW. The professioalism of the staff and the quality of the service is consistent. (Plus, the beautiful engeineering of of my 2009 Z4 (my 4th Z) makes for a Very Contented Customer. Leslie Branda More

Peter Martin sold me a newer BMW and traded in my old one. He was professional, friendly, sincere and knowledgeable. The transaction went smoothly. Some service was required on the new car, and while the service department could not do the work for several days, and could not provide a loaner, Peter offered his car for the day. I found your service reception/cashier desk is hit and miss -- often no one there. Perhaps because of the setup, the receptionist does not engage people who walk in and need attention. I also do not feel they are warm and friendly. The customer must wait till noticed, or track someone down. It is awkward and cold. Getting a loaner for car service is always at least 2 weeks away. This is unnaceptable! Especially during season, more loaners should be ready. My BMW dealer up north works with a car rental company (Enterprise) who always provides extra cars on site. Perhaps this could be considered during season. I have gone elsewhere for service at times because of this. More
Went in to have a service that was discovered when I brought the car in for an oil change. First, let it be said that I tried working with the sales dept. to find the BMW I was looking for 2 months unt brought the car in for an oil change. First, let it be said that I tried working with the sales dept. to find the BMW I was looking for 2 months until I gave in and went to the East Coast. I brought it in for the oil change (and general evaluation) and after dropping off the car and approving the work order, the service tech called to say, "You realize the price of the oil change, correct?" I was mildly offended, but shrugged it off as a different customer service approach. The car checked out well, but needed a repair. I brought it back in and had the repair done. After two days of driving, I noticed the same noise. Brought her back in...to learn that the problem was something else and that they would essentially be junking the $500 repair from before to get to the "real" problem --which should have been determined when the part was replaced by all reasonable means. After learning this, I went to the car and noted that the car had not been driven at all (I recorded the mileage ) since I turned it in for the second evaluation. They explicitly stated that they test drove the car to evaluate the noise. The service person also attempted to make two identical claims with my warranty company that day and the company called me to say BEWARE. At the end of many conversations, it was decided that they should have noticed the origin of the problem and would do the job that I already paid for again -but only if I had the other repair done there as well. Be aware of the questionable service practices. Notice too that the most recent reviews are back-to-back-to-back, date-wise. Another red flag of the integrity of Germain BMW. More

His communication during an initial purchase is thorough and informative. He keeps communications open thereafter. He also works for the welfare and security of animals. He has adopted several rescue dogs and devotes much of his free time working hard to find homes to mans best friend. We have adopted a resue dog and it was largely due to Jim's example and encouragement. We highly recommend Jim and consider him a valuable employee of Germain. You cannot do better than the best in the business. If Jim would leave Germain we would strongly consider moving with him because of his business ethic and honesty. If all BMW service centers were this bad BMW would go out of business. These are the most obnoxious and non-customer friendly people my wife and I have ever encountered. Save yourself the headache and go e of business. These are the most obnoxious and non-customer friendly people my wife and I have ever encountered. Save yourself the headache and go elswhere unless poor treatment and getting your car back in worse shape than you brought it in sound appealing.
We never went back, and after switching dealers we realized just how bad they really are and at lease end we turned in the car to another dealer as well.
My statement here is actually toned down as my disgust with them would require harsher language to portray properly.
