I am now on week 4 for my car being in the service department. I have the Cascada, which I'm sure the techs don't work on much. The convertable top wasn't opening/closing. Part was ordered, part ins department. I have the Cascada, which I'm sure the techs don't work on much. The convertable top wasn't opening/closing. Part was ordered, part installed. Problem not fixed. Had to order another part, coming from Michigan. Part still has not come in. Again, this is week 4 ! The ball was dropped some where along the line. On the serfaice,, it doesn't appear that anyone is taking responsibility.. if it were me, I'd be on the phone to Michigan, demanding that the Part be pulled and overnighted to me. And I would not get off the phone with them until I had a tracking number! But that's the difference between how I think customer service should go, and how the management at Gilchrist thinks it should go. It's ok for a customer to be without their car for 4 weeks plus! Im stuck, this is my transportation. This is wrong on so many different levels. Just wrong! I would love the opportunity to train this crew on how customer service should work. Gilchrist is severely lacking in that skillset. More
This is my second vehicle purchased from Gilchrist and both times the process has been a breeze. Tim responded to my offer email promptly and presented an agreeable set of numbers with no pressure or game both times the process has been a breeze. Once agreed upon, he clearly stated what documents I needed to produce in order to fulfill the requirements of my rebates and set a time to come into the dealership to sign and take delivery. At the dealership, Tim met me at the front door and was very hospitable, offering water and even Chick Fil-A from their sales meeting they just got out of. Tim helped get me set up with all of the related accounts for MyChevrolet and OnStar and then handed me over to Finance where it was just a quick sign here and there and then I was on my way. I'd definitely recommend Tim and Gilchrist to anyone looking for their next vehicle. More
