The walk through provided of new car technologies was great and the support staff paired both our phones to the car’s Bluetooth. We were and out of the dealer within 1 hour including all paperwork. Horrible experience in service department So this morning I took my minivan for an oil change. upon entering i met with the service advisor Bill. Bill advised me that there is an air bag recal So this morning I took my minivan for an oil change. upon entering i met with the service advisor Bill. Bill advised me that there is an air bag recall for the vehicle which I decided to have taken care at later time due to long wait time. I was given approximate 3 hours for an oil change which was still fine since I walked in without an appointment. So i was waiting in the lounge for few minutes after i handed over the keys. Bill arrived in the waiting area and told me that service director wants to speak with me. So I was taken into the garage where my car was going to be worked on and spoke with Michael Elston (service Director). Michael explained to me about the airbag recall and again I told him that i don't want it to be done right now. So all was well this point. He was upset and furious because i said I will have recall done at another dealership. He proceeded to enter the vehicle verbalizing " i don't have time for this nonsense", which i found very odd for someone who is in this position to talk to the customer. Micheal told me that oil change will not be done on the vehicle and i asked for the explanation. He told me that I came there without an appointment while calling me an "xxxxxxx". I told him several times to exit out of my vehicle several but would not get out. I asked him that I would like to speak to his superior and i was told that there is no on above his title. I am sure I am not the only one that was treated in this manner by this individual. So I pretty much wasted time and energy talking to this "service director". This individual was happy to do the oil change until I said I will have recall done at later time. Not sure if his behavior has been same with other customers. Glen toyota has lost one customer for sure, hope the dealership looks at this review and camera footage to evaluate this review. Will not return nor recommend. More
