Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. With one exception, the overall satisfaction with the dealership has been excellent. After purchasing the vehicle, I felt like it had been the least painful of all my lifetime purchases. My wife was also very comfortable with the Sale’s person and that was important to me. At time of first 12 month service,, we were surprised to be charged for a normal tire rotation. We had been led to believe that normal maintenance was covered by our lease agreement. Then surprise, tire rotation is not considered normal maintenance. It wasn’t the money involved which was very little.After expressing our disappointment, the Sale’s person offered to reimburse us for our out of pocket expense which was nice of him but not nice enough to forget what had transpired. We love the car but it doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to get past being misled at time of sale. It will probably be the only Volvo we will ever drive. Sad but true. More

Just Terrific experience in selecting aVolvo for the first time. Aaron was very good at explaining the various features of the different packages available on the XC90, and find the level and color comb first time. It all started when I was driving around the lot in my warm car on a very cold day when Cedric hurried out to offer his help. It took me days before I made a final decision ... but during the entire time, Cedric remained patient, responsive, accommodating and encouraging. Reluctant as I might’ve seemed, he guided me toward the right decision ... an incredible car at a good price. My overall experience with Gorges Volvo was extremely positive. Everyone that we had met was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the entire process. Joel, the finance manager was beyond personable and positive. Everyone that we had met was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the entire process. Joel, the finance manager was beyond personable and made us feel very at ease during that part of it which can sometimes be stressful. Haley was absolutely incredible and instilled so much confidence in the decision to purchase the car. She provided guidance and support without being forceful or pushy which we appreciated more than we can every say.
