Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. Great People to deal with I found the description of the vehicle I was interested in in an online auto search application, the vehicle was so new to the dealership there were n I found the description of the vehicle I was interested in in an online auto search application, the vehicle was so new to the dealership there were no photos posted. I texted Haley Frost and explained I liked the description but would like to see photos. Even though it was late in the day, Haley went outside, snapped photos from all angles and the interior and texted them back to me within a few minuets.. I liked what I saw and we started talking price (texting), we came to an agreement on the price and two days later I was standing in the dealership with a check. I drove from Michigan to Omaha to test drive and buy the vehicle. The team at Gorges was courteous, professional and just a great group to deal with. I was delightfully surprised by how informative & efficient Cedric was in this experience. I found Cedric to be just what I was looking for in a salesman. And the rest of the experience was spectacular minus that I had to return the next day to get our driver's licenses that the moneyman forgot to give us. I would never have mentioned this, partly because I should have remembered too. However, when I called back that night, they said to come in as early as 730 and they would be at the receptionist's desk. No one was there when I arrived at 745. Gut from service came to help only to find the pompous, not my problem manager come strolling in around 820 pretty much being rude about the whole thing. Which seemed wierd cause I wasn't mad at all, xxxx happens. More
