Gorges Volvo Cars has been recognized as the preferred Volvo dealer serving our region since 1957. Back then our founder Fred Gorges and his 2 brothers first formed a relationship with Volvo in Wichita Kansas, where the Gorges brothers operated a successful import business. When they were approached by Volvo to start selling cars in the United States, Gorges Volvo Cars was born.
After some time in Kansas, Gorges Volvo Cars eventually relocated to Omaha where we've continued our successful business for 30 years. We attribute the success of our new and used Volvo dealership over the last three decades of serving Omaha, Lincoln NE, Fremont NE, Sioux City and Council Bluffs IA, to the fact that we are 100% dedicated to maintaining our strong family values and extending those values to our customers. As I was coming from out of town to buy a veh The interactions at the dealership went well. People were friendly the process went relatively smooth. As I was coming from out of town to buy a vehicle, with a weeks notice and amended my schedule, with their encouragement, so they could could credit by the end of the month. The vehicle was waiting, much of the paperwork that could be performed in advanced was completed. The one issue that arose when attempting to create an on-call account, there was problem relating to the car not existing in the system (Volvo). I believe it was out of respect that I was sent on my way as I was returning to my home state that day. However, I was told the dealership was too busy to address the issue and to simply find a dealership in my area to address the problem. It would have been nice if this could have been performed in advance, or the dealership as a courtesy could have reached out to my local dealership to advise of the issue. More

Best car sales experience I have had! I had priced a particular branded vehicle at many locations and even new models, so I knew the range of price. Gorges was at the low end! I went and test drove the vehicle, worked out a trade price and pretty much the first offer was awesome! No pushy sales, no high balling, the salesperson and manager did what they could to hit my price I wanted and it literally took 20 minutes to workout a deal and they hit my price! I would highly recommend Gorges Volvo for any car purchase! Even if you're not looking for a Volvo, they have a great selection and high quality of other manufacturers! More
