Best car-buying experience I've had! I dreaded my next car purchase because my last experience was so terrible. I had gone to multiple dealerships due to not being treated with respect be I dreaded my next car purchase because my last experience was so terrible. I had gone to multiple dealerships due to not being treated with respect because I was a female buying a car on my own. I had also had a dealership actually laugh at me because I was doing this on my own and did not want a co-signer. I have been wanting a Subaru for a few years now. The folks at Grand Subaru made me feel so comfortable, and treated me like a human. I appreciated their thoughtfulness and patience with me as I made my decisions. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly and customer-service oriented. I could not believe how different this experience was from my previous one. I was updated throughout the entire process and had an enjoyable time finalizing my purchase. I am so thankful to the folks at Grand Subaru, especially Chris C. and Trace for making my experience incredible. More
Three for three Two years ago we needed a new vehicle, and after much research, decided on a Forester. Our credit union had relationships with three Subaru dealers, Two years ago we needed a new vehicle, and after much research, decided on a Forester. Our credit union had relationships with three Subaru dealers, and after more research, we chose Grand. Melissa Distel handled our whole transaction, from initial contact, to trade in, to final sale. It could not have gone more smoothly. Melissa was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. We were very happy with the price and service we received. Two months later, my beloved 2002 RAV4 suddenly suffered a fatal mechanical malady. Being impressed with Subaru, and having already done oodles of research, I decided to get an XV Crosstrek. Back to Grand Subaru and Melissa we went. There was nothing available on the lot, so she found one that was being shipped in that met my specifications. Once again, it whole transaction went very smoothly. Melissa kept me informed of everything until the Crosstrek arrived, and took care of every detail of the sale. Once again, we were very happy with the price and service. Now, two years later, I decided that my old bones needed a little more comfort and luxury. I took a good, hard look at other makes of SUVs and crossovers, but when comparing value, reliability, and consumer reviews, in my mind nothing beat the Outback. So back to Grand we went. Melissa is now a sales manager, so she set us up with Chris Czaja, one of the internet sales staff. Chris was great to work with; friendly, funny, knowledgeable and professional. He gave us all the time we needed to go over all the numbers. We got a great price on the Outback, and a good trade-in on the Crosstrek, and once again, the process could not have gone more smoothly. We have been completely satisfied in our dealings with Grand, both on the sales side and the service side, and would happily recommend this dealership. Keep up the good work! More

"Amazing Mike" Go to Grand Subaru and Mike's your man! My daughter had been saving for years for a car. She finally decided this past summer that she was ready to Go to Grand Subaru and Mike's your man! My daughter had been saving for years for a car. She finally decided this past summer that she was ready to purchase a modestly priced used car. She had some clear ideas of what she wanted so we spent most of the summer looking for just the right fit. We primarily relied on one dealer whom we'd purchased from before for my son and had had an outstanding experience. We were really reluctant to go anywhere else since we'd heard horror stories about buying used cars and didn't want to take the chance of sending my daughter off to college with a problem car. Less than a week before she needed to head out to college, we were still waiting so we decided to look at other dealer options. We ended up seeing a used 2007 Subaru Forrester online that was available from Grand Subaru. We called and had the great fortune to get Mike Sinacola to help us. We immediately drove to Bensenville from Chicago in rush hour just hours before the dealership closed. Mike had the car washed and sitting in the front waiting for us to test drive by the time we pulled into the dealership. They allowed us to test drive the car without someone hovering over us and to take as much time as we needed to look the car over and talk and ask questions. My daughter was thrilled and we purchased the car. Mike was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He stayed late on a weekend night, past regular business hours to make sure we were completely checked out, set and satisfied with our purchase. Al in the finance department was also terrific. We purchased an extended warranty and he even gave us his personal cell phone to call him if we ever had any trouble getting the warranty coverage. Grand Subaru even allowed us to take it to an independent mechanic to have it checked out and guaranteed to fix any problems for free should our mechanic find something non cosmetic wrong. Our mechanic said the car looked and drove like new. But this isn't the most incredible part of the story. Two days later and only three days before she had to drive 1500 miles to school the car stopped dead in traffic. After calling AAA for a tow I called Mike on his cell which was right at closing and he helped me arrange to get the car looked at in the morning with their mechanics. Joe in service called me in the morning and had found the problem (a bent gas gage in the tank so the tank was not registering empty). We had scheduled the car to be rustproofed that day but unfortunately Joe needed to have the part overnighted to the shop and it wouldn't be ready until the next day which was the day of our departure. Joe promised to have the car done right away when the part came in so I arranged to have the car rustproofed the next morning by noon. By the way, Joe was very accommodating and was a huge advocate for pushing this through and making it happen in a timely and efficient manner. The next day the part came in late and we were told if the car wasn't there by 1pm we wouldn't be able to have it rustproofed until two days later. We had an hour drive to the dealership and were waiting to hear from Joe about the completion and we were running out of time. Just minutes before the deadline, in steps amazing Mike who offers to drive the car to the rustproofing shop so we could get in there on time. We saved many hours in traffic, got the car done and my daughter made it to college on time. I know it sounds like a fairy tale but it's really true and Mike and his team were the reason. It's unheard of to get customer service like this in today's market and Mike should be given the medal of honor for service above and beyond. More

The delivery went smoothly and the Finance Manager helped us expedite getting our lease done and we were able to be driving our new car sooner than expected. This truly is the way a customer purchase should be handled. We would buy/lease again and will recommend every one interested in a Subaru to follow in our footsteps to Grand.
