Brought my car in for a check engine light and spent over $500 in diagnostic labor and they were unable to find the issue. They asked me to spend approximately another $1900 to pull the engine which was bef $500 in diagnostic labor and they were unable to find the issue. They asked me to spend approximately another $1900 to pull the engine which was before any actual repair costs were known. I took the car back for a second opinion at my local mechanic. The problem was diagnosed in half a day, and cost me a grand total of $60 to fix. Communication was terrible at Granite, they were slow to respond and had my car for several days. I would have expected them, as Subaru experts, to be able to diagnose a minor issue without costing me thousands! I will never go back in spite of the fact that I've been a loyal customer for years. No follow up whatsoever, no attempt at making things right. Shameful. More
