Then he said my payment was 480 a month and with an extended service contract it was gonna be 520 a month.. he lied about my payment to me to make it look like the payments on the extended service contract were cheaper if I purchased it now rather than in three years from now. After all, all sudden on my payment was only 451. Meaning after my factory warranty runs out in three years I can then buy an extended service contract for the same price. He withheld information and lied to me in order to make a commission. I was nervous also that he was withholding my interest rate so if I didn’t buy the extras, he could use a different bank that allows him to pump up the interest to make a commission. This I’m not sure about but places do this. The finance guy also told me I was not levelheaded and he didn’t know how my brain works because I didn’t want to buy gap. Gap is for people that are upside down in a trade-in with a small down payment. I did not have a trade and I made a good down payment. Plus, I told him I’m going to be making aggressive double payments to pay it off twice as fast to principal. He told me to just get gap now and cancel it in a month. That way he could get a commission likely. This is snake like tactics. Especially when he was gaslighting me attacking my state of mind about my own decision-making. Not only that, but he was physically angry with me for not purchasing these things. He got up out of his chair, angry and stormed away, saying he doesn’t know how my brain worked. Besides that they dropped off the car without the final detail and left a schedule to prescription from the previous owner in the backseat. They also delivered it to my house without temporary registration tags, leaving me the liability to get pulled over. I still don’t have my tags. Even the service department wanted nearly double the price I was quoted for the tint job. They did not take off one single dollar and I paid full high retail. They say there are no haggle dealership, but the finance guy haggled with me for over an hour and was xxxxxx off that I would buy the extras. I had to walk out and call the general manager at the next day to smooth things over just to get the car I wanted even at high retail.. He apologized and said he’s gonna better train his finance guy. To get the deal done and over with to reduce my stress I just played the nice guy. It has been eating at me ever since. I feel like they would at least throw in an inexpensive window tint for me as a token of their apology. I left them a typed message on their website with my continued PTSD from this deal. Still, no one has got back to me. I don’t want to call and think that it is better served. I just tell the truth and leave as many reviews as I can. More

They went above and beyond to help me find a vehicle that fit my budget while also giving me options I hadn’t even considered..like picturing myself in a truck! Once I test drove it, I was sold. They truly listened to what I needed, and somehow made my monthly payment land exactly where I needed it to be. I’ve never felt so at peace at a car dealership before. Shannon and Rob took their time, broke everything down clearly, and really worked with me to make it happen. They were so personable, kind, and helpful in every way, and made this the most stress-free car buying experience I’ve ever had. It honestly felt like family. I will never go anywhere else for a vehicle. I have already recommended and will continue to recommend, Shannon and Rob at Grants Pass Toyota forever and ever. A huge thank you to the rest of the staff as well. I know there were others behind the scenes who helped tremendously during this process and made me feel validated, respected, and confident in my decision. THANK YOU, Grants Pass Toyota, for having the best customer service and the warmest smiles. That kind of experience is absolutely worth driving 45 minutes for. Love you all! More
The buying experience the day we purchases was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our experience after the sale was horrible. We ordered parts to be installed, which didn't come in within a week, so we picked up the vehicle to bring back for the install. No one would help us when we arrived. When we finally got someone to help, he threw the keys to us from 6 feet away and walked away. We had to ask for someone to bring the vehicle around, had to ask for the temporary permit and had to ask someone to deliver the vehicle, as we had questions. The parts we ordered and paid to be installed have yet to come in, 9 months later and when we call we get the run around. We're out the money we paid for the parts and install costs, as we gave up trying to resolve the matter. So, the day of the sale went great, but once they got our money for the vehicle, they no longer cared about us as a customer. As the owner of a motorcycle dealership, I I would be mortified if our staff treated our customers this poorly after the sale, including keeping the money for parts and install that never happened. 5 stars the day of the sale, minus stars for the experience after the sale. Earlier I wrote a review on the poor service I got. Ted, the General Sales Manager gave me a call and wanted to hear my side of the story as he had already talked to Dillion. I explained what happene Ted, the General Sales Manager gave me a call and wanted to hear my side of the story as he had already talked to Dillion. I explained what happened and he said he would take care of me and make it right. Wow! I felt he went out of his way to fix the problem. He had the lights reinstalled properly, got me a very nice rental Hylander to use while the repairs were being made and he filled my gas tank up. This is what customer service SHOULD look like. Thank you Ted and Grants Pass Toyota More

I’m not sure about everyone else, but I was told the price was non-negotiable. For a used car—really? So does that mean everyone buys their vehicle at the listed price? I’ve also heard that a survey con price was non-negotiable. For a used car—really? So does that mean everyone buys their vehicle at the listed price? I’ve also heard that a survey conducted some time ago showed that about 60% of buyers prefer not to go back and forth over pricing. I guess it is my bad because I am the rest of the 40%. I’ve been to several dealerships in Medford, and they would at least take a few hundred, if not a thousand, off the price. I even showed the salesman that the vehicle was priced slightly above market value. However, he didn’t seem interested in making a deal and appeared eager to send me on my way. I rarely write reviews, and I have great respect for hardworking salespeople—but this time? Thumbs down. More
A couple of weeks ago, I visited this dealership for a routine oil change, and my experience turned out to be far better than I could have imagined. During the service, something unexpectedly broke on my routine oil change, and my experience turned out to be far better than I could have imagined. During the service, something unexpectedly broke on my vehicle. and the team immediately took full responsibility and assured me they would take care of everything at no charge. Not only did they repair the issue completely free of charge, but they also provided me with a rental car for five full days at no cost while the repair was being completed. On top of that, they didn’t charge me for the oil change either. I walked away without paying a single dollar, which speaks volumes about the honesty, integrity, and customer first attitude of this dealership. shout out to Derik, Sam, Carson and Diego Loera for their professionalism and genuine care. They were upfront, transparent, and made sure I felt supported throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond, that gave me total peace of mind knowing my car was in good hands. This experience has earned my trust and loyalty. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone! They have bilingual staff which made my customer experience even stronger. I speak English but surly having the support from someone on my own language made my experience better. Thank you to Diego Loera for your support as well. More
Earlier I posted a negative review on how I was treated by a salesman named Justin Alger who did treat me with disrespect and was very pushy with a lot of pressure to buy an older Toyota Tundra with 190 th by a salesman named Justin Alger who did treat me with disrespect and was very pushy with a lot of pressure to buy an older Toyota Tundra with 190 thousand miles on it and he tried to force me to buy it with high pressure tactics which I for one hate. My wife was there to pick me up and witnessed what Justin was doing. The sales Manager Ted Mikel's was also trying to make a deal with me not knowing how Justin was treating us, so I felt I was being pressured by both Justin and ted. But I realized Ted didn't see how Justin was acting towards us, and I left a negative review for the whole dealership because at the time I was upset at the way I was treated by Justin. I was wrong to write a negative review about the dealership as a whole and do apologize to the owner Brad, Ted and the rest of the staff at Grants Pass Toyota, for the rest of the staff have been friendly and kind to us for the rest of them have been good to us and have made every effort to give us a good deal. I do recommend Highly Grants Pass Toyota and I hope Justin will show more respect towards potential customers and have more patience rather than High Pressure tactic. More
I can’t overstate how delighted I am about my recent experience with Grants Pass Toyota. My salesman Matthew Monthei had been highly recommended by a trusted friend whose family has bought several pre-o experience with Grants Pass Toyota. My salesman Matthew Monthei had been highly recommended by a trusted friend whose family has bought several pre-owned cars from him. For anybody looking for a new or used vehicle, non-commissioned salespeople are the way to go, and GPT is the place to go. I had started working with another Rogue Valley dealership whose salespeople were clearly competing for commissions, and I felt like chum in the water surrounded by sharks. With Matt and his excellent co-worker Rhi Marsh, I had a team who were working with me and for me, rather than against each other. It was truly a no-pressure experience. I had done a LOT of research and was very particular, and they paid meticulous and respectful attention to what I did and didn’t want in a pre-owned SUV. Another GPT factor that gave me confidence was their 7-day-cash-back and 30-day-exchange. The commission-only dealership I’d briefly worked with had nothing like that. To me, that’s a red flag. If the dealer doesn’t have confidence in their vehicles, we buyers shouldn’t either. On our purchase day, Matthew was very detail-oriented, finding vehicle history that wasn’t on CARFAX and answering my endless questions. He was incredibly patient and resourceful when we encountered multiple super-frustrating issues that were all our fault, not his or GPT’s. And Omar Meza in Finance was just as easygoing, presenting us with options but not being pushy about anything. I eventually bought an SUV that checked off all my must-have boxes and more — a 2018 Toyota RAV4 LE Hybrid AWD with Toyota Silver Certification. Seven years old and like-new. I love it! Thanks to Team MattRhi, I couldn’t be happier. More
