My vehicle arrived on a tow truck due to a flat tire (no spare or jack came with vehicle). I was told the tire had a large gash in the sidewall and could not be fixed and that you did not stock the tire. spare or jack came with vehicle). When I asked about options, I was told by Neil that I needed to leave the vehicle until you could get a replacement tire. I told Neil I live alone in an isolated area and that was not a viable solution. He copped an attitude and told him that was my only option adding most people have other people to carry them around. I again said no and asked for a loaner, a temporary tire, or getting the same size tire with a similar tread design. He rejected all these options and said he would just re-inflate the tire so I could return once the new tire arrived. I pointed out that I would have to add air every couple of hours (including circa 3am) or let it go flat again so that it would have to be towed a 2nd time and that I would be forced to miss more work. Neil said I would have to “top off” the tire from time to time and that lots of service stations have air tanks. Neil was becoming increasingly hostile and confrontational as well and clearly could care less about me as a customer. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly regarding an automotive matter. I have purchased new vehicles from Green Ford every couple of years since 2008. I’m going to have to rethink this relationship after being told by Neil that I would just have to deal with a flat tire for a day or two (or going without a vehicle entirely for a day or two), including 3am jaunts to service stations looking for air tanks. One of the absolute worst customer service experiences I ever had. Neil is a serious liability to your organization. Also, this tire is the 3rd tire I’ve had to replace on this vehicle since purchasing it in June 2020 (all due to sidewall issues). Not the experience I was expecting in that respect either. Not happy. Not at all. More
