He came prepared and was a notary, so I was comforted by the professionalism and attention to detail. Plus, my existing loan was promptly paid off after the transaction. Watch out! Sales agents will lie to you and do everything to sell the car. If you have complaints after you bought the car, you are dead to them, no one will respond to your emails or call you back. The sales agents were very charming and didn’t stop talking, leaving no space for questions. But basically 80% of the information about the car was wrong, what I found out through Carfax and independent mechanics. Starting with promised equipment and technical features the car did not have and ending with defects no one ever mentioned. The independent workshop to which I had to bring the car one day after purchase said that the defects would be noticed by any professional right away. So, either the advertised safety check-up is not really done, or the defects are deliberately concealed. My many attempts to contact them were brushed off at the front desk and no one ever called back. You wouldn’t expect this behavior by such a big dealership, but I guess that’s exactly why it works. Don’t make the same mistakes I made. More
