They told me that they rotated the tires, and they were lying … I know where the tires were located because it was just one different from the others and it was in the same position. I brought my 2016 Optima in for service because the AC was blowing warm air. I have the 10 year extended warranty but was told that the AC portion had expired (no notice of this) and I had to pay $250 fo was blowing warm air. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours I went to check on my vehicle because,as I told the sevice person, I had to go to work. I believe her name was Shelby and all she did was speak Spanish to the other employess in front of me (I don't speak Spanish) while waiting for news on my vehicle. She then informed me that my vehicle needed every AC part replaced and gave me a rough estimate of $1000+ for parts and $1000+ for labor. I thought this was odd since my vehicle only has 50k miles and I rarely use the AC. I then happened to notice on the wall a notice to service personnel about the monthly goals for parts and service that each service member must meet. It certainly made me wonder if my vehicle was being used to help Shelby make her monthly goal. I declined service and considered a trade in. When I finally got into my vehicle, the AC was blowing cold air and whenever I try it, it still blows cold air. More
The person helping me out, Matt, would never keep me updated on my car and would ignore my messages. I bought a BRAND NEW car from them back in April and I've had nothing but problems with it so far that are still unresolved. They make the sale with you and then offer ZERO customer service. You're just a number to them. Brand new car off their lot and before we even left, an inside handle was broken which we asked to have fixed while we were signing papers and came out to having to ask again. Same week the dashboard popped up and the driver outside handle did not work. Bring it in with my newborn baby and sat there for at least 2 hours to only have the dash fixed. They said they fixed the handle too but I told them it was not. ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE DONT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY AND MAKE THE OFFICE DOCUMENT IT ALL BECAUSE THEY DONT. They had to order a piece for it. Before I left I mentioned a mark that looked like it needed to be buffed out and the Service Manager sat there and told me it was a "paint issue and it was my responsibility to take care of it at a autobody shop"- yeah brand new car with paint issues? I did go to another autobody shop to get another opinion and when I told Kia that, they connected me with some third party detail guy and again, I had to drive up to Kia to meet him so he could look at it. He was able to buff it out so why the Manager insisted it was a paint issue is beyond me. Come back another time because they told me it was in, sat there for another two hours, and there was NO PIECE. Yet another trip, they said it was fixed and it was not. Another piece they had to order and im still waiting on it since May. I call to check on the status and its on backorder. I just called back this week and now there is NO ORDER. It timed out and I guess I should have known that I have to call back to open a new order LOL I've asked multiple times for the GM to call me and I've had the store manager promise me he would have him call- still waiting on a call since May. You guys want to keep sending me a review to fill out? Happily so I can save someone else the headache. I'll never buy from this dealership again and I will tell everyone to stay away from them Nothing but regret, anger, stress, and money (tolls, gas, time off work) More
