I was told I could not drive up to get service, I had to make an appointment. I made an appointment two weeks ago. I made the appointment for 12:40. I was told it would be two to two an a half hours for an make an appointment. I made an appointment two weeks ago. I made the appointment for 12:40. I was told it would be two to two an a half hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I had to have them check a few other things (window, trunk latch). They told me it would be longer. I don't remember how long they said. Five hours later and I am still at the dealership. There were at least six other people, complaining about the same thing. They are extremely short staffed and over booked. When I complained about whats the point of appointments, if its going to take two to three plus hours, just for an oil change and tire rotation. There were a few people who came in after me and left after me. They told me when I bought my car there was car service and shuttle service. When I made my appointment, they told me they only have shuttle service within a five radius. The sales department salesman lied to me and manipulated me too with multiple things. They manipulate you into obtaining a service package, which then makes you obligated to go. More
My husband and I went to Kia West today to buy a car. We told them exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. Once we got to Finance it was a different price. My husband let the guy know he was going told them exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. Once we got to Finance it was a different price. My husband let the guy know he was going to pay that price because we were told a different price up front. Anas Lazaar got mad and said get out my office you piece of xxxx xxxxx. He then said it again and I was like why are you saying that and got up in my husband face. I called the office to speak to the manger and he was rude to me on the phone and asked if I had proof. I said am my husband proof because we were the only ones in the office. We got nowhere with this manger. I want to know is that how you talk to your costumers by calling them a piece of xxxx xxxxx. I never ever will recommend Kia West to anyone. More

My goodness...you would think they should get called out for what they are obviously doing wrong. They charge you an almost $1000 loyalty fee for the first time you shop there, and $500 more dollars if you for what they are obviously doing wrong. They charge you an almost $1000 loyalty fee for the first time you shop there, and $500 more dollars if you don't finance the car. They also made me co-buyer when I was supposed to be the main buyer, did not put my name on the registration, and as of a month after purchase, still have not sent my information to the state of Florida to get me a tag - meaning I have to go back to get another temp tag. Awful, and I have been advising people not to go there. More
The absolute worst dealership & customer service I have ever dealt with. Ayoub Lazaar sold me a xxx Kia Sorento with a promise to fix a door that had been involved with a previous accident. Every time I ca ever dealt with. Ayoub Lazaar sold me a xxx Kia Sorento with a promise to fix a door that had been involved with a previous accident. Every time I called the dealership to schedule a service appointment they told me they had no time available. They blew me off for over 2 months and when I finally got in there in person, they told me the 30 days window had passed. NEVER buy a car here, if you’re going to waste money on a Kia I’d suggest going to greenway Kia east. Ayoub lazaar is the textbook definition of slimy car salesman. Chris Barker & Yakir Rukman also were terrible. The gentlemen working in the parts department are the only people you should ever try and work with at this horrible establishment. More
Purchased Telluride November 21, 2020! Still no title/ownership papers. The vehicle title application was supposed to be sent to Raleigh, NC, but was apparently sent to the wrong address on Decembe title/ownership papers. The vehicle title application was supposed to be sent to Raleigh, NC, but was apparently sent to the wrong address on December 22. No one has provided helpful assistance to date...I know, a "manager" will probably respond to this, but I need the correct paperwork sent to the correct NCDMV. More
Here we go again, like I have said in my previous reviews, I purchased the Sorento from Greenway Kia West in December a week before Christmas. We had the tag transferred over from my wife’s old car and I figured everything was good to go. My birthday is in January and the tag was to expire on my birthday. 2 or 3 days before my birthday I went online to renew my tag. Everything seem to go smoothly, when on my birthday I get an email from Orange County saying the didn’t renew my tag. I tried calling the DMV to find out what was the problem, well everybody knows how difficult it is to talk to someone, especially with this Covid situation. My wife finally got to talk to someone a week later, and she was informed that the tag was already renewed and the registration was sent to Greenway. They have had our tag and registration for a month or longer, and nobody contacted us to let us know, nobody attempted to mail it to us, nothing. We had to call them, and then hey were like, ya we have your registration. So my wife had to drive over to Greenway on an expired tag, luckily no officers got behind her and pulled her over. I just can’t believe how this dealership runs, I have never had these kind of problems from any dealership that I have bought cars from in the past. I do not recommend buying from Greenway, I say deal with Greenway at your own risk, but remember I warned you More
Charge you $995 "loyalty fee" and $500 if you don't finance. Mess up the registration but you can't get anyone to speak to to correct it. Awful dealer - I'll never go to this one again! I'd give them finance. Mess up the registration but you can't get anyone to speak to to correct it. Awful dealer - I'll never go to this one again! I'd give them 0 stars if I could More

Before I do that, I had totally forgot to mention another th This is a follow up. I wanted to follow up on my earlier review about my brakes and a/c. Before I do that, I had totally forgot to mention another thing that bothered me. My wife and I were looking at the Sorrento on a Friday evening about a week before Christmas. After we agreed on the price, I told the salesman that I was paying cash, and I would come back Saturday morning with a certified check from my bank for the amount. At first he was asking if I could give him any money right then, and I told him that the bank account I had the money in was not tied to any card or checking account, that it was money I have saved up for the last twenty years for an emergency and the only way to access it was physically going to the bank. Well he persisted and said if I could at least give him $500 then he would let us drive the Sorrento home that night, my wife said she would love to drive it home and I did have enough in my debit account to cover the $500 so I agreed. After giving the $500 I was given the new amount to make the certified check out for which was $500 less than before. After sitting around for 45 minutes, and our salesman not in sight, closing time for the dealership was fast approaching. He finally came out and said the detail crew was behind and they wouldn’t get to my car in time, and could I go ahead and get it in the morning. I’m annoyed again because that was what I was planning on before and now I sat around there for another hour. So I asked can I get my $500 back. The panicked look on his face was priceless, then he said since I paid with a card, they would have to send me my money back. I said don’t worry about it then and we left. To shorten this long story I’m just going to say that after about a week and a half after purchasing the car, the salesman texts me and says there is a problem with the check that it was $500 short. I disagreed and told him the check was made out for what he told me, and I would have noticed a $500 difference. He texts me again and asks me to call him. I’m at work and I can’t just up and call him, and then I wondered if he forgot about the $500 I gave them on that Friday night. I texted him to remind him of that fact, and guess what, I never heard from him after that, not even an apology for making a mistake. Well I didn’t get to bring up my issues with the a/c repair, I will do a follow up on that tomorrow. More
I have never really had a bad experience with buying a car from a dealership until I decided to buy from Greenway Kia. First I want to bring up their loyalty fee. The salesman brought up that if I had bee car from a dealership until I decided to buy from Greenway Kia. First I want to bring up their loyalty fee. The salesman brought up that if I had been a repeat buyer I would save $750.00. You would think that would mean if you were a loyal customer they would take $750.00 off of the price of the car. That is not how it works, if you are a first time buyer they tack on another $750.00, repeat buyers get the car without the fee. They charge you $750.00 for wanting to be a new customer. I was about to walk out the door because of that, but my wife really liked the Sorrento, and because we were buying pre-owned, I couldn’t find another one at the time. Also this was a Christmas present for my wife. After all the fees were added on, the price of the car was $5000.00 more than advertised. Even though I wasn’t happy with the price I went ahead and purchased the vehicle. When we test drove the car it was a very cold evening, so we drove with the heater on, and never tested out the a/c. (Big mistake). Since my wife gets cold easily, and the weather was pleasant, she didn’t run the a/c. Finally about 3 weeks later it was warm enough for her to turn on the a/c. She called me and was saying the a/c wasn’t blowing cold, well it’s one of these dual a/c’s and I thought she just wasn’t operating it right. I told her I would check it out. I didn’t get a chance to check it that day, and two days later she calls and says the brakes are making a funny noise, so I told her to take it in to Kia and get it looked at. After the car was checked I get a call saying all 4 rotors are bad and need to be replaced at 200 and some dollars each, and the a/c condenser has a hole in it and that’s $1200.00 to replace. This was a certified pre-owned vehicle that is supposed to get an extensive inspection, and all bad or worn parts should have been repaired or replaced. I haven’t even had the vehicle a month and all of a sudden I have to pay $2000 more on it. I wanted to know why I was sold a car with worn out rotors and bad a/c. I got the usual let me have someone call you back routine and I was expecting not to hear from anybody and I would have to call back. Unexpectedly, the service manager called back, and said he would go ahead and replace the front brakes, when I asked why he wouldn’t do the back also, he told me that miraculously the back brakes were ok. Now either I was originally trying to be sold brakes I didn’t need, or they just don’t want to fix the back brakes, I think both scenarios are a little troubling. Then he told me because they couldn’t tell when the condenser was damaged, I would have to pay for that. I believe that the condenser was damaged when I bought the vehicle, because obviously they did not do an extensive inspection on it. Because I have no proof, they absolutely refuse to even consider that it may have been that way. I haven’t even had the vehicle a month, it’s not like this was 6 months later. If they had good customer service and were a decent company, they would take care of it. Instead they would rather lose a customer from ever buying from them again, plus I will discourage all my friends and relatives from ever buying from them. Let me give an example of good customer service I received. I had my windshield replaced back in August, and a couple of weeks ago a rock flew into my new windshield and cracked it. I called the glass company and told them what happened, and I was informed the warranty doesn’t cover outside damage, but they sent a technician to look at it. While the tech was inspecting the windshield, we started talking about how the warranty doesn’t cover the damage, when he suddenly turned to me and said, that the windshield wasn’t installed right. Because of that he replaced the windshield under the warranty. Because of customer service like that, I will recommend this company to anybody, and they have earned my loyalty. (The company was Safelite Glass by the way) I have another example from another car dealership that I may post at another time. I know this was a long review, but I wouldn’t recommend Greenway. They have ridiculous fees,, shady service practices and lousy customer service. More
