To whom it may concern: Mr Ramirez did come to Orlando Kia on October 21, 2012 and purchased a pre-owned Nissan truck. He was initially unhappy with the service he was provided in our business office. On Monday the 22nd of October he wrote a bad review on our company, sharing his concerns with our business manager. He was contacted by our General Sales Manager and asked to come back into the dealership. Upon leaving the dealership the following Saturday, October 27,2012(he could not get back until then), he left the dealership very satisfied and even wrote an additional review communicating how satisfied he was with the experience. There was a concern at the initial point of delivery regarding the tire light on the Nissan truck he purchased. We attempted to repair the tire light in our own service department by adjusting the tire pressure, which normally is the solution for a tire pressure monitoring light. That repair attempt was unsuccessful in correcting the situation. We then contacted the Nissan dealer located near our facility and were told that we could not get an appointment for that same day, as it was a Saturday. We communicated that he could return with the vehicle and we would make sure the repair was completed. Mr Ramirez decided to drive directly to the Nissan dealership. It is customary that when a customer arrives at the dealership that service employees handle customers on the spot, I mention this because it appears it is Mr. Ramirez' opinion that we never attempted to make the appointment. Nissan did find that the actual sensor that monitors the tires pressure was defective. He did pay for the repair out of his own pocket($250.00). This is where it appears the communication process obviously broke down. To my knowledge, I am unaware that Mr. Ramirez ever asked anyone to reimburse him for the $250.00 repair before removing the good review he wrote and additionally filing a complaint with the BBB. I absolutely agree with Mr. Ramirez that he should be reimbursed for the repair and I am simply requesting a copy of the receipt/invoice so that I can accurately reimburse him. Upon receipt of the copy of the Nissan invoice I will have a check cut immediately and I would like to also reimburse Mr. Ramirez for a full tank of gas in order to hopefully make amends. If Mr. Ramirez decides he does not want to come into the dealership I have no problem mailing him the check along with an additional $50 to fill his gas tank. I would simply ask that he remove the poor review based on the fact that there certainly was no malicious intent on our part but simply a failure to communicate.
