I have been going to Gunn Honda for over 20 years. Yes I did shop around in San Antonio and considered other dealership but this particular one maintains a service department that secured my choice drew to did shop around in San Antonio and considered other dealership but this particular one maintains a service department that secured my choice drew to bring my business there and get my vehicles for my family. Joseph Tolaver is great!! He’s my Service manager and he has been positive, clear and always very supportive in every car crisis or minimal need we have had. I’d like to also mention give a honorable mention mention to Steve/service department manager as well. He also helped me trouble shoot and always reassured me that my vehicle was in the best shape when I heard or smelled anything unusual by always checking it out for the peace of mind and safe operation my vehicle. Another honorable mention to Damon Hinore who had recently stepped up answered a late call fir a failing battery a few days ago and told me what to do and how to followup. What dealer ship does that within minutes of closing? And he is not even a service manager!! These gentlemen are among others as well as a couple of the fellows in parts Dept that always impress on me the likelihood that I’ll have a good experience when I go there for any need concern or problem. Clone these guys or make sure you give them something significant to show you appreciate them.. people like this are even harder to find right now. As someone with over 40 years of experience in management and executive administration with services in quality of people based treatment, I would’ve cloned them if they were on my team. Keep them happy and keep them safe!! More
What seemed to be a possible transmission breakdown on a cross country road trip, turned out to be a software issue which was under warranty. That, and an additional recall issue was quickly fixed and we we cross country road trip, turned out to be a software issue which was under warranty.
