Pleasant Buying experience My wife and I went to the LADA car show today in Lafayette, LA to shop for a new family vehicle. We had researched the prices of family vehicles from My wife and I went to the LADA car show today in Lafayette, LA to shop for a new family vehicle. We had researched the prices of family vehicles from several dealers prior to the show, but I really wasn't expecting to purchase a vehicle at the show. I looked at it as a shopping experience. After discovering that all dealers there we heavily discounting their vehicles, we became serious about purchasing a vehicle. After looking at multiple family vehicle types from different manufacturers, we settled (again) on a Sienna van. The car-choosing experience was exceedingly pleasant and I couldn't have asked for a more personable sales person. The car-pricing experience was made only slightly less pleasant because I get "cold feet" in the process of spending significant money (by my standards). However, the price that I received for the van and the trade in I received for my old Sienna more than made up for any self-inflicted doubts on my part. Once the car-pricing process was done, the car purchase and financing process ensued. I admit that I was waiting for some hammer to drop in this process, but it was also very pleasant and strait-forward with no pressure for additional "add-ons" like some dealerships like to throw out in the closing process. My wife and I went to the car show expecting to make more comparisons between features and options on van models, but we drove out of the car show with a new Sienna and we couldn't be more pleased. The people, the pricing and the process at Hampton Toyota turned a shopping experience into a pleasant buying experience. More

Colin Broussard accompanied me on a test drive, remaining calm and cool while I took the car through a series of quick starts and stops, maneuverability and cruising. when negotiating the price, I appreciate how Colin stayed neutral between the sales manager and myself. I am satisfied with price:-) Colin is very knowledgeable and a tech/geek, as well. I appreciate how he spoke my language in a comprehensive way and could understand so much concerning all the cutting edge features of the new Hybrid Avalon. this young man has a zest for life that is contagious! My wife Audrey and I arrived at the dealership at approx. 5.00 on a Wed. We looked at the Avalons in stock and selected one. We negotiated with Mr Joseph and the sales manager until about 6:30. By that time the new car had been serviced and we took off in our new car and went home. The price seemed to be right and they gave us a great trade in price. My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Hampton and continue to when we have our vehicles serviced. In February, we purchased a 2013 4-runner with John Romano. It was Mardi Gras day, and we most definitely did not expect that the dealership would be open. We passed by on the chance that they would, and not only were they open, everyone was in a great mood and happy to help. We received an amazing deal on the car, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Two months later, we returned and purchased a 2013 Tundra. Again, the experience was fantastic, and we received a fantastic deal on the truck. Between the two of us, we have purchased seven vehicles (five from other dealerships) in the past five years, and these two were, by far, the easiest we have dealt with. The entire staff is friendly and attentive, and they continue with this demeanor well after the sell. I would purchase from Hampton again in a heartbeat and have every intention of doing so when it is time for our next vehicles. More
