I moved to Boston, about 40 miles from Harbro, last year, but when I decided I would buy a used car, I knew Harbro was the first place to go. I remember buying a car here more than 20 years ago when my father recommended I shop at Harbro. Buying was a painless experience way back then, and it's the same way now. Tim greeted me right away and we chatted about the selection I had seen on Harbro's website. He inquired about my budget and never once tried to steer me toward a vehicle that was more than I wanted to spend. I appreciated that, and also appreciated the fair price he offered me for my trade in considering it had huge mileage. I know a lot of women hate the idea of car shopping alone fearing they'll be taken advantage of, but I know that didn't happen at Harbro. I did a lot of research and knew what I wanted (and didn't want) and what I could afford, but I believe that even if I hadn't been a well-educated car shopper, the guys at Harbro would have been just as honest with me. There's a reason people recommend Harbro to their friends and family -- this is a great dealership, staffed by good people. Life is stressful enough. Tim always maintained the highest in professionalism and made me feel like even I know something about cars and truly did my research before selling on Craig's list. the information I provided to sell the car was important for him to know before he was able to pursue on his end. Tim provided me with references of his dealership to the bank he does business with, he even encouraged me to call them and the local police department for total piece of mind. thought that was funny since most people are known by the police for other reasons than a citizen/business in good standing!! this is important to Tim because he knows how many have been scammed on Craig's list. I knew his e-mail was legit because I did my work by googling the e-mail address and checking out his website. from there I was able to continue with comfort. I am already talking to Tim about another future transaction in the selling and purchase of another car. Kent is by far the best service manager in the business. When he recently left Webster for Whitinsville I was very concerned, but now he's back and there is no place else that I will go for service. As a well informed first time buyer, the hundreds of horror stories about the bloodthirsty dealerships and their shark staff haunted my every venture. It was purely by chance that while driving down route 12 I noticed a vehicle I hadn't test driven, my MINI. I'd relate it to winning the lottery- thats just how good the service here is. Harbro was exceptional from the get go, patient with my extreme attention to detail, and extremely helpful when later the vehicle needed service.
