Apparently, the rim that was ordered by Mike Rivera, was for a spare tire, not the tire that was removed from the car . The service was fast and efficient, but see below. When I came to pick up, there were two people in the cashier's room. One person was working with someone ahead of me on line and the other was workin When I came to pick up, there were two people in the cashier's room. The person ahead of me had an involved problem and after I waited about five minutes with no one even acknowledging my presence, I asked if the other person could check me out. She did, but both people acted like it was an imposition. Also, when I dropped the car off, I told the service technician that last time I had been there, the display panel had been left with the oil life icon on and I could not remove it, even after reading the manual. He promised to show me how to do it when I returned. When I picked up the car, the tire pressure icon was on and I asked the gentleman at the podium to help me remove it. He could not do so and asked my technician for help. My technician came out and solved the problem, but again acting like this was an imposition. More

No muss, no fuss. I brought my Malibu in this past Friday (2/9) for its first oil change. When I'd originally emailed the appointment request the previous week, I'd ask I brought my Malibu in this past Friday (2/9) for its first oil change. When I'd originally emailed the appointment request the previous week, I'd asked if I could also have the tires rotated, and the wiper blades replaced - and if they could do it while I waited. Iwana responded within the hour and said yes. That was the first good thing. The second good thing was, after I arrived my car was immediately taken in for its service, and I was back in the car heading home in less than an hour. Now, this sort of work shouldn't take very long to complete- but I was curious to see how long a wait I was in for: other than the wiper blades, my service was covered under warranty, so they certainly didn't make any money off of me. Since this was my first experience with Hawthorne Chevy's Service Department, I didn't have a guideline to go by. Having my car ready before I'd finished the sports section made a very good first impression. They said they could do the O/C, tire rota, and wiper blades while I waited, and they did so without any apparent fuss, or overly long turnaround. Works for me. Keep it up! More
