I am dissatisfied because when I originally brought my used car in for its first oil change I told the service person that there was a loudish sound coming from the back when going over 40MPH. He wouldn’ used car in for its first oil change I told the service person that there was a loudish sound coming from the back when going over 40MPH. He wouldn’t test drive it because he said it was road noise caused by the aggressive tires. I said it didn’t sound like road noise to me. He said it was. So I waited until the sound got worse and then took it back. At that point they looked at it and said a rear wheel bearing had failed. I’m particularly dissatisfied because I had to drive with the noise so long and that by the time they fixed it my one year warranty had expired. More

Prince, did everything in his power to get me out as soon as possible otherwise it would have been a 2 hour wait. My family is TYPICALLY A HONDAY FAMILY, but we rolled the dice in October, 2021 on buying a Toyota Corolla Hybrid from Heiser. This service appointment was my first service call with Heiser Toyota on our st dice in October, 2021 on buying a Toyota Corolla Hybrid from Heiser. This service appointment was my first service call with Heiser Toyota on our still virtually new (7 months but barely 4,000 miles) 2022 Toyota Corolla. I had a 7:30 AM appointment to get nothing more than a simple tire rotation and a COMPLIMENTARY quick peek at a few little items that for a car with only 4000 miles on it would never need to be fixed or replaced anyway. Long story short, any capable mechanics with a lift and a pneumatic air wrench should be able to undo the five or so Lugnuts on each wheel, set the tire down, shuffle the tires and put them back on in 30 minutes or less. I was told to plan for up to 60 minutes … so I did. After waiting for 60 minutes, I went out and inquired if they could check what was holding up my car because I had another appointment fir a vaccination scheduled 30 minutes after the 60 minute appointment with them was supposed to end. The service person said,” well we’re a little shorthanded now AS ALL PLACES ARE.” My response was a straightforward one, “There’s a very simple solution to NOT BEING SHORTHANDED only 30 minutes after your service dept. has opened up for the day … STOP OVERBOOKING APPOINTMENTS!” If you truly know that you are short staffed and will continue to be short staffed for the foreseeable future, stop setting up appointments every 30 minutes and instead separate them maybe by 45 minutes. Problem solved! But Heiser Toyota would rather jam in as many appointments as possible and then just have to “apologize” for any “delays or inconveniences”, no matter how it screws up the customers personal schedule for the rest of the morning. In addition to this, their paperwork is very unclear and not user-friendly in any way. This was all supposed to be covered under ToyotaCare which is free for the first two years, yet the way that they print out their forms they listed an “oil change” which is not even a part of the first 5,000 mile checkup for ToyotaCare for a new 2022 Corolla hybrid. There’s no reason that oil change should be listed ANYWHERE for the first 5000 mile visit, yet when I called them upon returning hime about that and the fact that their bill implied that I got an oil change when in fact I didn’t they made all sorts of excuses that the paperwork was showing how much the dealership is getting paid by Toyota corporation. To which I say, “what and why is that being listed on my bill? I should have no idea that you’re getting any payment from corporate and instead it’s confusing. Because it’s right in the line where it talks about getting an oil change which would not be part of that service at only 5000 miles when all Corolla Hybrids are synthetic oil and go 10,000 miles or one calendar year between oil changes! I am seriously considering going to ANY other Toyota dealership … whether that’s Russ Darrow Toyota which I believe is in West Bend, or Wilde Toyota which I think it’s West Allis … for my next free service as you are not tied to going to the dealership where you bought the car as far as I know. Between Heuser overbooking their understaffed mechanics, slow working mechanics (even on the most BASIC TIRE ROTATION on a brand new car), very poorly laid out billing documents, and including info/implied services that were never performed … is was a very disappointing first interaction for service with Heiser Toyota. Unfortunately, rather than take advice about restructuring their billing layout NOT TO LIST services that don’t apply to Hybrids, nor listing their reimbursed costs AT THE TOP of the itemized bill BUT at a minimum MOVE IT TO THE END where it would not be confused as implying AN OIL CHANGE WAS PERFORMED … Heiser instead makes excuses for the disorganized bill, blaming CORPORATE TOYOTA for the bill layout confusion as to how corporate reimbursement are even foolishly being listed on a CUSTOMER COPY … and that 5,000 mile oil changes don’t even apply to Hybrids as they use synthetic oil.
