Very disappointed in Service Department. Brought car in the night before service was scheduled so it could be worked on first thing in morning. It was a factory recall. I got a call the morning of scheduled service saying the toe-link was already looked at and they would be working on it and they asked about brake work they said I needed and lamp replacements I needed but I said to just do the recall work. I was told I would get a call when work was done. Also told it would take one or two days to complete work. No call by the end of first day so I had to borrow a car as I had an appointment on the second day. When I got home from my appointment at about 2pm, I called to see when it might be finished. I was asked if I hadn’t received a call yet and I said no calls were received. I was told the car was ready. When I picked up the car I found out that the car had been finished the day before but no one called me so needless to say I was NOT HAPPY! I received the paperwork when I picked up my car and it showed that the work had been completed the day before but NO ONE CALLED ME! More
I left my vehicle the night before my vehicle was scheduled to be repaired for a Ford recall. I had been told that the recall repair would take a day or two. I was called on the day of the scheduled repair around 10 AM to inform me that “they had taken the vehicle apart and done an exam of the entire vehicle and they told me I needed rear breaks and also front breaks and had two marker light bulbs out and also a plate light out and did I want to have all this work done as well. When I replied that I just wanted the recall fixed, the caller ended the call. I had been told that I would be called when the vehicle repair was done. I received no call the entire first day. On the second day I had to scramble to find a car to borrow as I had an appointment I needed to keep but dudn’t have my car back. I finally called the service department at 2:30 PM on the second day they had my vehicle to check on when I might expect to get my car back. The woman I spoke with asked me if I had received a call about my car as yet and I told her I had heard nothing from them. She was very apologetic and said the car was in fact ready to be picked up. I picked up the car and when I looked over the receipt, I found that my vehicle had, in fact, been finished on the first day and sat all of the second day until I called and then when to get my car. I was extremely upset that I had to huddle around to borrow a car and be without my car all of the second day till I called to finally check on it. I would have to think very hard before I brought my car back to this dealership in the future. More

The dealer made an appointment within a very reasonable time frame after I contacted customer service. It took almost a week of troubleshooting before the problem was resolved, but I was kept informed thr time frame after I contacted customer service. At this point, I’m unsure whether the issue lies with the Bronco itself or with the inexperience of the young mechanic the dealer is using. This is my response to my Yelp review on July 7th regarding Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree. I do not know the reason my inquiries on issues with my car or customer service was not being heard befo regarding Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree. I do not know the reason my inquiries on issues with my car or customer service was not being heard before. Until the GM Scott Lewis, Service Mgr Jon Rydings and in the end Jack Nguyen, Service Advisor who took my car in Friday for the service. Now everything is perfect. You understand that things will never stay the same as before. It will change. When it seemed like I was hitting a brick wall I could not understand how it could be like this and started to lose faith. When I started dealing with Scott it started to change and we got some things done. I still had an issue and I could understand why they were questioning because they repaired parts when they first got the Explorer in well before I looked at it. They could have been hard nosed but Scott got hold of Jon and they worked on my car a couple of times until Friday when I drove out of Chambers Ford Braintree with the Explorer in perfect condition. There is only one way that I can describe what happened with my experience that I wrote about on July 7th. The New England Patriots went through the 2007 season undefeated. They were the best of the best. Until they lost the Super Bowl. One glitch to a perfect season. Well, Herb Chambers Ford Braintree unfortunately had that glitch with me. Then they stuck with it and made everything right. Thank you for proving to me that YOU are as good as you were when I bought my other Explorer from you. I have no problem letting anyone know or direct them to Chamber Ford Braintree. I don’t know if I should say this here. But what the heck. There is one small issue with my Explorer and I want to let people know where my car came from. I have a plate holder from Chambers Boston. Any chance of getting one from Chambers Braintree? More
