I was not in a position to "need" a car immediately, thus I had shopped around quite a bit. My older Honda Accord was well over 200,000 miles. I knew exactly what I wanted and visited several dealerships. As I was working on narrowing the field, it came down to about three cars. All Accords with low miles. Boch in Massachusetts was all about trying to weasel me into buying a new one, and Metro in Johnston, RI really had the car I wanted, low miles, 4 door Accord at a great price. However, when I went into Metro, I was ignored, and I was ready to buy. I let them know they lost me, and after making a few calls to Herb Chambers in Seekonk, they had something close to what I was looking for. It didn't work out initially because I wanted the almost the exact same car and price as Metro. However, Andrew Beaulieu kept working for me, kept in touch as I continued to shop. Finally the right car came in. I needed it to fit my budget, Metro was offering more for my car upon my first visit, but then on second visit, I was ignored so never went back despite the great deal. Andy at Herb Chambers stuck with me. He worked hard to get the deal to work. Every time I walked in the entire dealership was friendly, and I felt at home. I went online, was contacted within one hour from customer service. I set up an appointment. I was set up with Jessica Walz, she made my new car purchase a very pleasurable experience. Jessica was friendly, professional, and got me an excellent deal on my new car and my trade. She stayed with me from start to finish. Jessica is an asset to Herb Chambers, She turned what would normally would stress me out into a very pleasurable experience. The person that went over the car with me (options etc) also did an excellent job, unfortunatly his name escapes me. He made sure I knew everything about the car, and even offered to come to my home and go over the car with my wife. I would recomend Herb Chambers Honda to anyone, and would encourage them to make their deal with Jessica Walz. I bought my last Honda in 2001 from Silko Honda, and wanted to buy this one from them, but their arrogant take it or leave it attitude turned me off so bad that I will not be returning to them. More
