We had a bad experience with the front desk. We were given an estimate of $1570 and then charged $1855 when we arrived. I WENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD THAT MY OIL GASKET WAS LEAKING PROFUSELY...COST $400....I REFUSED TO FIX. THEY ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO SEE UNDER MY CAR AFTER THE OIL CHANGE WAS DONE, I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR, NOTHING WAS LEAKING. I WAS SO SCARED TO DRIVE THE CAR HOME FEARING I WOULD BLOW MY MOTOR. I WENT STRAIGHT TO MY MECHANIC TO HAVE MY CAR INSPECTED. HE COULD NOT FIND A LEAK...NOT EVEN A DRIP. WHAT A SICK FEELING I HAD....SCAM ARTISTS AT THEIR BEST...CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY STATED THE 3 MECHANICS FOUND THE LEAK, BUT NOT ONE OF THEM SHOWED ME WHERE...SEEMS COMMON PRACTICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP.....BEWARE!!!! We have an Accord and an Odyssey in my family, and both are now brought to Herb Chambers Seekonk. This is a wonderful dealership, Both cars are 2002. Starting with the Odyssey, when it was 2 years old t are now brought to Herb Chambers Seekonk. This is a wonderful dealership, Both cars are 2002. Starting with the Odyssey, when it was 2 years old the rear A/C was no longer cold, we went to 9 different dealers, many are well rated and also the one it was bought from, however it took 3 weeks at Herb Chambers, but they finally got it right, Every time we go there we are warmly greeted and the car gets a full walk around so we are aware of its current condition. A recent service with the Accord went well for the most part. The engine was misfiring so I drove down and told them what I wanted, twenty minutes of waiting a rep came over and said I need more work done than anticipated, I agreed, but because of the unexpected work the total bill came out with a 15% discount. However the reason I put their quality of work low is a recent experience with the Accord here. After checking the engine bay at home after the service there was a large marker left on the front quarter panel right under where the hood mounts are, and there was also a bolt missing from an engine piece. I am in shock about this. I would like to add another piece of information, while having our Odyssey serviced, every time we have been given a Ford Taurus, to me it makes no sense how that is equivalent to a Mini-Van, never mind a Honda, and I would love to see Herb Chambers step it up and use Honda loaners. They are such great vehicles plus its a great way for people to see new features. More

Even though are car purchasing is complete, Bruce still makes an effort to make us feel at home and welcomed everytime we are in the dealership. We travel over 40 minutes to use this dealership for service makes an effort to make us feel at home and welcomed everytime we are in the dealership. We travel over 40 minutes to use this dealership for service because of the staff, especially Bruce. Being in the military we have visited many dealerships across the nation but none measure up to the service at Herb Chambers. Bruce is the best and we will truly miss working with him when we must move. More

I WAS VERY QUICKLY ASSISTED BY VICTOR WHO TOOK GREAT CARE TO VERIFY ALL MY INFORMATION AND MADE SURE MY CAR WAS BROUGHT RIGHT IN.WHEN THE CAR WAS READY,MY VERY QUICKLY ASSISTED BY VICTOR WHO TOOK GREAT CARE TO VERIFY ALL MY INFORMATION AND MADE SURE MY CAR WAS BROUGHT RIGHT IN.WHEN THE CAR WAS READY,MY PAPERWORK WAS GIVEN TO ME BY TIM WHO HAS ALSO ALWAYS PROVIDED OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL IN THE PAST.WHILE IN THE WAITING AREA I WAS GREETED BY RAY GAGLIARDI WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY SOLD ME 3 OTHER CARS AND I ASKED HIM ABOUT END OF THE MODEL YEAR VEHICLES THAT MAY BE AVAILABLE. I HAD BEEN CONSIDERING BUYING A SPECIFIC MODEL AND COLOR.HE DID NOT HAVE ONE ON THE LOT BUT PROMISED ME HE WOULD CHECK THE OTHER HERB CHAMBERS LOTS TO SEE IF THEY HAD THIS PARTICULR CAR.HE HAD SALESMAN ANDREW BEAULIEU ASSIST ME WITH GETTING A PRICE FOR MY TRADE AS WELL AS FOR THE NEW CAR.A FEW HOURS LATER MR. GAGLIARDI CALLED ME TO SAY THAT HE HAD FOUND THE CAR THAT I WANTED AT THE SAME PRICE WE HAD DISCUSSED.THIS IS THE SAME WAY I HAVE BEEN TREATED EVERY TIME I HAVE BOUGHT OR SERVICED A CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP.THEY CONSISTANTLY DESERVE A 5 STAR RATING FOR EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER CARE AND SERVICE!!I HAVE RECOMMENED THEM TO MANY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS WHO HAVE ALSO BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR EXPERIENCE. I love this dealership. I started driving my Honda CRV when I was 16, and just recently sold it after 10 years, and bought a BMW. Though BMW is known for it's quality of service, nothing compares to the when I was 16, and just recently sold it after 10 years, and bought a BMW. They were always friendly, always timely, and were great about keeping me informed as to what they were doing, why they needed to do it, and what to expect in the future. I cannot wait until the warranty runs out on my BMW so that I can buy another Honda and drive an hour to get it serviced in Seekonk. More
