Excellent routine 15K service, except it has been known for months that my Palisade had a safety recall on the hitch. It was noted on my appointment. However when I went there, they did not have the part for months that my Palisade had a safety recall on the hitch. It was noted on my appointment. However when I went there, they did not have the part needed. I was told they needed my VIN number to order it but they certainly knew it and new of the recall. Very frustrating to go to the dealership and not get the work done. I may request a picture of the part before I bring it back! More
Just don’t like don’t offer a loaner car service taking more than 4 hours or longer like some other dealers do- very inconvenient to get ride to drop off car and go pick it up but know herb chambers isn’t more than 4 hours or longer like some other dealers do- very inconvenient to get ride to drop off car and go pick it up but know herb chambers isn’t going to change policy - believe u lose a lot of customers by not offering some kind of service to help customers with this issue like other dealers like Toyota for instance….. Cars are great. I have bought 3 vehicles from this dealership. Service lead time the last few years is horrendous. We just purchased a new car, wanted a Hyundai but I have bought 3 vehicles from this dealership. Service lead time the last few years is horrendous. We just purchased a new car, wanted a Hyundai but couldn't buy here because appointments for service are 6 weeks out. As the old adage says "the first car is sold in the showroom, all the rest are sold in the service department." So true! Before you buy a car here, try making a service appointment and see how far out it is...buyer warned! More
Alex was great. We purchased this vehicle in March. The engine needed to be replaced. The dealer (McGovern) didn't tell us Hyundai has been been have engine issue. Nor did they tell us Hyundai had extended the engine warranty, due to that issue. We were told immediately by the people at Herb Chambers about the warranty. They took care everything. Not a penny out of pocket for us. We are very happy with the service. More
