Truly Exceptional Service for my Oil Change I recently visited the KIA Herb Chambers in Burlington for a routine oil change and, as usual, the staff was polite, friendly, and efficient. However, I am always pleased with the extra touch, they washed and vacuumed my car! Finding the car spic and span was a nice bonus and shows they value their customers. Service is fine with one exception - adding an additional fee above the advised service cost after service is complete is a sleazy way of doing business, which removes some stars. Got an 15K servi additional fee above the advised service cost after service is complete is a sleazy way of doing business, which removes some stars. Got an 15K service and was told it’d be $270. When it was complete I saw they added a $20 fee on top of the service. When questioned they said it was for disposal associated with the service. That’s part of the service, put it up front in the price, not a hidden service fee. I don’t care about it costing an extra $20, just tell me it’s $290 instead of $270 up front so it doesn’t leave a poor taste. Otherwise the staff was fine. The place is very small without many amenities - but it’s a Kia dealership so that’s somewhat expected. More
