Colin has been a dependable go-to person for help and guidance relating to my vehicle. He is always patient and professional. He is a welcome front man as you walk through the door! Patricia Young has sold me two cars and has always proven to be knowledgeable and professional. This is my dealership of choice, and I would highly recommend them!!!! More
Had to bring my 2020 xc40 in for an intermittent air conditioning issue. Always cringe a bit going to any dealer but I must say Volvo of Norwood returns much of that fear with excellent human empathy an conditioning issue. Always cringe a bit going to any dealer but I must say Volvo of Norwood returns much of that fear with excellent human empathy and problem solving. This trip, Peter in service worked with me to 360 what the problem could be based on my observations of the issue. The issue was solved by end of day, logic of the repair approach was clear and not glossed over and to top it, Peter never made me feel like I was a number. With visits like this, going to a dealer climbs up a notch in my book. More
Maybe the service department is good (all the positive reviews), but I don't trust the sales staff and management. These people are dishonest. I was very interested in a "Herb Chambers Certified" pre- reviews), but I don't trust the sales staff and management. These people are dishonest. I was very interested in a "Herb Chambers Certified" pre-owned vehicle. When I called to see if it was still available, the Business Development Manager demanded my personal data before she'd allow me to see it. She said people were coming to look at the vehicle later in the day and the next day so I decided it probably wouldn't be worth the long drive. Then I changed my mind and made an appointment to test drive the car with the saleswoman who took my call. When I arrived, the receptionist confirmed an appointment wasn't required - just a good idea. It was a rainy weekday afternoon - 0 customers! Neither of the women met with me! Instead, they sent a nervous young man to tell me I couldn't test drive the car (even around the lot) because the brakes needed work. He said the repair center was backed up - but if someone buys the car, they'll bump it to the front of the repair queue! I looked at the car and the CarFAX report - which showed they first listed the car for sale for 3 weeks ago (as a "certified" vehicle), and the brakes were serviced 2000 miles ago (not dangerous for a test drive unless the car had suffered damage in the meantime). So this dealership expects people to buy a used vehicle BEFORE the vehicle qualifies for the "supposed" Herb Chambers Certification - and expects people to buy an 9-year old car without a test drive!!! They're looking for chumps. Or they were lying about the brakes? Or is there another mechanical problem with the car - a recent accident? Or is the car already sold? Are they using it for bait to attract people they want to sell a new car? Is that the development plan? Since I'd driven so far to see the car (wasted time), I decided to wait half hour to see if the next prospective buyer was allowed to test drive the car. No one showed up. I have to wonder if they were honest about those other appointments. Why were they making appointments for test drives if the car can't be driven? Why was the used vehicle listed for sale as "certified" if it wasn't driveable? If they cancelled the other appointments (suddenly "discovered" the car wasn't ready for sale), then why didn't Business Development Manager and sales staff know the car on their lot (3 weeks) needed brakes? Why would they continue to list the car for sale if a buyer can't drive it first? Either it's already sold or they expect someone to buy it without driving it. Anyway you look at it, there's something fishy about this dealership and/or the vehicles they sell. Someone is lying. More
