I've gone to the dealer each time and I was on the verge of just going to an instant oil change place on my next trip (they always say, "don't go to the dealer for service, it's a rip-off). I went in this time and they automatically applied coupons up front & let me know how much it was going to cost. I got the oil changed, tires rotated, the "inspect everything else" treatment and a quicky car warsh for just about $100. At Valvoline I think they used to charge $60 or some ridiculous price for the tire rotation. Going to the dealer once every six months isn't too bad, plus I have the peace of mind that they have the Subaru name to protect so they'll make sure they do everything right. That and the staff is super friendly. More

Harry Price, the usual person I deal with, told me they could do it in about an hour, quoted a price, checked to see if my tailight assembly was in stock, and scheduled an appointment for me. It really was only an hour and the price was what he quoted. Thank you Harry and thank you to Herb Gordon Subaru for taking care of me and my Forester!! More

Sue Ireland in sales and Michael Goodman in service I would have give the dealership 5 star rating if the dealership improves their Parts and Cashier department. It took the parts department 15 min to find out they dont have the parts in store and took the cashier almost 30 min to complete the paper work and hand me my car key. But the good news is they have top notch sales lady Sue Ireland and Michael Goodman in service. I worked with Sue more than 2 yrs. I brought my first Subaru from Sue, Crosstrek in late 2017 and traded in for a Outback July 2019. She is so knowledgable of all Subaru models. She is patient, curtis, and professional. She is always prepared and does her "homework" before we meet so that time spent in the office only for the time needed for the paper work to close the sale. Sue follow up with a friendly call to make sure all is well after the purchase. She makes you feel like a family member. One if my friends also brought a Subaru from Sue because of my recommendation. If you want a Subaru, talk to her first. As for Mr. Goodman. He took care of my Crosstrek from day 1 and continued with installing my options for my Outbsck. Michael is always on a schedule as per the appointed time. He listens to your services needs and take care of servicing your car like it is his own car. Best of all, when he gives you the estimated time for service the car, it is within minutes of his estimate. To me, this is very important, especially if one is waiting at the service area. If you want a service rep that keep his words and take care of your car, look no further than Michael Goodman. More

The service folks checked the tire and installed a new one , getting me in the words of the old song, “On the Road Again”. Thanks, Mike, for getting me taken care of; much appreciated. Other companies could take a page from your playbook of excellence in customer service. I remember when I bought the CrossTrek in 2918, my first Subaru and hearing about becoming a part of the Subaru family. It seemed a bit hokey at the time, but in every single interaction with the folks at Herb Gordon, beginning with Al Goldberg and continuing today with Mike, I have in fact been treated like family. That is great and selfless customer service. Thank you Harry. Claudia further added to the great experience by allowing Millie to review the vehicle features before I left, she had to bring the car back down which many would have not done. This act of kindness saved me a lot of time by not having to do the review later in the afternoon. Thanks for thinking of the customer first! More
