Michael at Herb Gordon Subaru provided exactly the type of service I crave! He was not smarmy or condescending- he treated me as an equal. As a woman, That really matters- I’m so tired of condescending car of service I crave! He was not smarmy or condescending- he treated me as an equal. As a woman, That really matters- I’m so tired of condescending car guys!! Instead, we just discussed the needs of my car. He offered several options and explained pros and cons objectively. This is just what I want — to intelligently discuss a holistic strategy for my car. I never felt pressured, I felt informed. So that in itself would have been perfect, but on top of that Michael was tremendously flexible, always available and really just an excellent person to do business with. He was so laid back about schedule changes that I needed to make (my last car company was NEVER flexible!) I guess what I most want others to know is that this really was the best interaction I’ve ever had with car repair. Everyone there was great. You can ask anyone for help and they smile and immediately respond. It’s a bit of a haul for me distance-wise to get to this dealership- but I definitely will be back.
